Summer's over, done messing with the Canyon, and time to get the '31 done. Pulled the tank to start the mods. Since the tank will be housing the electronics (such as they are), a little air flow wouldn't hurt. The heat sink and HEI module will mount inside so to keep the stock look I'll be...
Every year (if I'm towing more that a block to the ramp), I pull all the hubs, clean and repack them before towing. I've seen too many on the side of the highway F'ing up their weekend (and pocketbook) over a simple maintenance issue.
Exactly, so you tape and shoot the teal (in the mold), pull the other colors, shoot them then lay down the base color. Only way I can think there WOULDN'T be white at the bottom would be taping off the other colors and ONLY laying down white where it will show.

454 4 bolt...
A LOT has happened to the Canyon in the last 10 months. Tried to fire the motor, had issues, pulled the motor. Straightened out a few issues, found out why a newly rebuilt engine wasn't really run. Rebuilt the wood in the passenger seat, colorsanded and buffed the gel yesterday. Tons of little...
Hear how slow that cranked? Put in a new starter good for up to 16:1 motors, but needed a little "modifying" to work in a tunnel. This sucker cranks FAST now, so hopefully the flooding issues are gone. Minor fuel leak fixed, just sealing up a few bolts and transom plates. Mount the license plate...
