The stand up jet ski crowd has a lot of people in this age range in it. I rode skis all through college (5 years ago) and have a lot of buddies that did as well. I think you’ll see this crowd graduate to boats but it will be more of a late 20s early 30s thing.
I’ve noticed this as well. Most of are our entry jobs and for entry level employees (high schoolers). In CA it’s much more common to see people in their 40s working at a McDonald’s instead of a 16 year old.
As someone in their 20s (27) I thought I could chime in. I was born and raised in SoCal but moved to Utah for college. What I’ve noticed is a lot more people live in home in CA. Much less common in Utah. I moved back to SoCal when I graduated college and had a good job working as a project...
Just added an x to the lot you’re looking at. It’s across the street essentially. The new lots will still be in warranty with the city for a year after passing final engineering inspection which would be nice as well. Before closing on a new lot in a development I would also confirm with...
Just a heads up someone is finishing up another phase of a development adjacent to this street. From the parcel map it looks like it hasn’t recorded yet. You may get first shot at these lots and price may be more competitive if the developer wants to move them.
Depending on what you’re looking for I would recommend duck creek village, beaver, and brianhead Utah. We grew up with a cabin in Big Bear we sold in 2015 and I have to say all these places are way better than Big Bear is for recreation.
Market seems much more resilient then anyone would have expected. Our forecast for 2023 was to build/sell 100 homes and we ended up doing 140. This last December was hot and our materials cost are significantly down and we’re raising prices in several of our communities. $650-900k stuff is...
Home Builder in Northern Utah. We dropped priced all round another 15-20k on average in the last month and are giving 2-3% in incentives on top of that. Sales seem to chug along and the numbers are fine. Hard costs are down significantly which has helped. Some subdivisions seem like it’s hard to...
Little Jamaica is gone with the freeway expansion. Some decent trails but primarily geared towards sxs’s. Virgin River is the shittiest casinos and preferably my favorite. It has the cheapest minimums. You can park your RV and camp in their park lot I’m fairly sure. Rooms range from $30-110 a...
Salt Lake City. Hate the winter but love every other aspect of it. Another negative is cost of housing for a premium area isn’t much different than SoCal. Currently flying back to SoCal once to twice a month which may not be sustainable once I start a family. Considering moving back to the San...
May be cheaper to rent a box truck from uhaul or enterprise and tow with that. We had a buddy tow a Malibu from Texas to CA with one. Need to factor in mpg as well. I’m sure there’s a lot of trucks going to CA to Tn they would brought back to the western US.
Last 2 weeks have been dead for us. We have only sold 4 homes this month. With the first snowfall/winter weather this weekend my guess is this will be the start to a slow winter. On a side note everything we are contracting has a higher land valuation and value than anything we’ve done in the...
I’ve got a 2022 husqvarna te300i. The new 300 tbi bikes are bad ass. They switched to coil forks in the 2024 vs the 2023. I would recommend a ktm 300xc. 2 strokes don’t have valves that need to be adjusted which is a big selling point.
Eagle mountain city center Utah. Basically the equivalent of of deep inland empire in relation to LA for Salt Lake City. Small lots and starter homes. A ton of inventory out there and most people that move there only buy there because it’s all they can afford…
Home sales have fallen off for my company in the last 2-3 weeks. 2023 has been a good year overall. We have one community we haven’t sold a home in probably 3-4 months. Still probably have 15 to work through there. It’s our cheapest community (starting at 550k).
Having owned a medium duty international for a hot second I have to agree on all the comments in relation to the F450. I would also recommend a Ram 4500 or 5500. Much more practical all round and don’t suck to drive.
Yes, after all the Warren Jeffs stuff went down the government took ownership of the trust that owned all the real estate. Jeff’s had all members transfer their real estate into a trust that was owned by the church. A lot of them are up in Cedar City and surrounding areas. Going to college in...
Yup, Hurricane is just as bad as St George. Colorado city az and Hilldale Ut(30 min past Hurricane) still have opportunities but prices have come up a ton in the last couple of years. They used to be where the fundamentalist Morman church (polygamist) ran out of but it’s changed a lot since they...
