Ok, grounding white wire on and off, we have coil spark. So assuming the Hall effect module in the distributor is bad?
Does anyone know what wire out of the hei distributor supply’s the ground to the white wire when the Hall effect module provides the signs for the closed circuit?

for the few bucks it cost, toss that old shit, not worth finding out it causes an issue. You can pull right up to the pump at havasu airport and fill up whatever with 100ll. You have to go in and get the gate code first. And to turn on the pump a tail number, that’s ez with all the planes nearby.
