The House Intelligence Committee meets at 5 p.m. Monday in the Capitol. The meeting will give the committee its first opportunity to vote on the question of releasing the so-called “FISA abuse” memo that has captured Washington’s attention in recent days. Since the GOP holds a 13 to 9 advantage on the committee, the overwhelming likelihood is that if there is a vote, the panel will decide, along party lines, to release the memo.

At that point, House rules call for the committee to await a decision by the president on whether he supports or opposes release of the memo. President Trump has made clear he supports release, so the memo could be made public quickly.

and to think, this is just the warm up band

FBI Director Christopher Wray went to the Capitol on Sunday to view the four-page memo.
According to one source, Wray was asked to point out inaccuracies or other issues with the wording -- and said he would need “his people to take a look at it.” The source said the review is ongoing.
FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe stepped down Monday as the agency’s No. 2, multiple sources familiar with the matter told NBC News.

Strzok or Comey whoever gets subpoenaed first.
That would be my guess.....Gonna be curious how the memo works into the Mueller investigation.

Before this is all said and done, what happens in the end is how and if things can be traced up the food chain to the AG and her boss. Comey can't be sleeping at all well knowing what a rock and hard place he's sitting in......Take the 5th or take a plea deal on turning state's evidence. Than the risk factor of taking a fatal fall in the shower has to be looming in the back of his mind.:D

I heard that Comey hired his Columbia Professor friend that he leaked info to as his attorney. Seems a little convenient and a little like Huma and Weiner not getting divorced.

I just want to remind everyone that when the FBI "interviewed" Hillary Clinton it was not videotaped nor was a transcript taken.

Unless you're a complete idiot, that should bother you.

I believe this is their train of thought... The memo will make Rosenstien out to be a bad guy. He approved request to continue Fisa surveillance on Carter Paige. There is proof the Russians were trying to make Carter an asset, which was the original reason for the warrant under Obama. But Rosenstien signed the request to extend it. Trump will use this as justification for firing Rosenstien. Rosenstiens successor (Trump appointed) will give Trump power to fire Mueller.

#releasethememo, transparancy, transparency, transparency is all I've been hearing from the right. The memo was written by a Trump team member, nobody is expecting it to be unbiased. No suprise, the left also wrote a memo - they say to clarify Nunes bias. To no suprise, transparency only works 1 way & Republicans voted against releasing the 2nd memo.

You cant make this shit up. All I know, is this will be the most watched mid-terms ever. After the mid-terms were either in for years more of tax payer dollars spent on investigations or a straight dictatorship. Fucked either way.

Don't you find it odd, none of the 9 democrats, led by Schiff, voted to release the memo:rolleyes:. If it was written biased by Nunez, shouldn't that help the democrats to refute anything in it? Clearly, they're worried about the release of the memo, claiming it would hurt national security. Yeah, if it was wrong doings by the opposition party trying to undermine a legitimate election, isn't it an attempted coup? That would be an outright treason, nothing else. Lets hope it won't be a redacted memo and be 100% transparent, regardless of what's in it.

Pelosi and House Minority whip Steny Hoyer (second in command) rule the Democrat caucus with an iron fist. If a member strays from the party line he or she can expect retribution in the form of campaign funds cutoff and other niceties.

Bipartisanship and compromise have no place in the Congress of Pelosi and Schumer.

For those of you that wish to point out Republican intransigence, allow me to remind you there is a deal on the table for DACA and other immigration issues. Instead of sitting down in conference committee with the Republicans to see where give and take might lead, the asshole Democrats pout and refuse to talk.

Recall that Trump gave Congress six months to reach a compromise on these issues. That time has been frittered away by the Democrat's refusal to seek common ground.

What I find odd is there's been no effort of corrective action, if the fbI did anything wrong. The fbi was essentially allowed to preview the doc on friday, but congress did not want any input. There has been no hearings or interviews with the fbi. Absolutely nothing to fix any wrong doing. This memo was created for 1 reason, shape public opinion & persuade enough of his base to justify firing Rosenstien.

Transparency? That would be releasing both memos, no interest in doing that either.

There was no Democrat memo submitted at the time of the vote. Schiff was asking for a blank check, or as Nancy says ; "You have to pass it to see whats in it"
Now that they (D) have drafted their 10 page memo, it has been voted on to let all of congress read it. And the (R's) voted yes.
It still needs more time and vetting before it gets voted for release to the public. (11G process)

But I have a feeling it will get leaked before its approved for public release.

FWIW, Listening to Schiff is just like believing Bagdad Bob

If they have nothing to hide, they have nothing to worry about. More FOX bullshit reporting. This is nothing but smoke, covering up more important issues.
If Fox News would report facts, they'd have very little to work with, and it would be a one hour weekly show. ;)

is this going to be the next big breakthrough that takes down the Democrat Party?
Bigger than the DNC conspiring to make Bernie lose the Primary?
Bigger than Servergate?
Bigger than Benghazi?
Will people resign?
Will people get suicided?

We can only wait....

Ok enough drama. Heres the story:
GOP lawmakers demand that 'alarming' memo on FISA abuses be made public.
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...rming-memo-on-fisa-abuses-be-made-public.html

A four-page memo circulating in Congress that reveals alleged United States government surveillance abuses is being described by lawmakers as “shocking,” “troubling” and “alarming,” with one congressman likening the details to KGB activity in Russia.

“It's troubling. It is shocking,” North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows said. “Part of me wishes that I didn't read it because I don’t want to believe that those kinds of things could be happening in this country that I call home and love so much.”

Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz said he believed people could lose their jobs after the memo is released.

“I believe the consequence of its release will be major changes in people currently working at the FBI and the Department of Justice,” he said, referencing DOJ officials Rod Rosenstein and Bruce Ohr.

For those of you that don't understand the reference, Riefenstahl was the director and producer of Nazi propaganda films such as Triumph of the Will.

She was a master of scene composition, camera angles, and dialogue. If you've ever seen film clips of the hundreds of thousands marching by torchlight through the gigantic arena at Nuremberg, you've seen her work.

Still didn't help Germany win the War, but it does show how much current government parties try to trick and manipulate those who can put them in command.

That's why McCabe is out..........right?
That's why the FBI said they didn't have 5 months of texts from him, when they did..........right?

I'm sorry your boy will go down as the most corrupt President in our nation's history, but look at the bright side, you took a K from me!! ;)
