Did you watch anything on the suspension design? Personally I don't think it's going to break like you guys think. The forces won't be enoughImagine how many kits he’s gonna sell.. a cubic shit ton is the answer

I'm sure someone will break something, but you get the idea.
The upper knuckle doesn't appear to be a weak link
The only downside, which is huge about having your switches on a touch screen is when running hard and you want to turn something on it’s hard to hold your hand steady on a touchscreen and get the right accessory to turn on. Speaking from experience with a garmin touchscreen. I now like regular switches for lights, etc.
It seems RD is stuck on form over function here. Apparently he missed the several videos and posts about that suspension design resulting in a 85% reduction of force on the upper ball joint over traditional designs.Did you watch anything on the suspension design? The more I look at this thing the more I think Polaris is gonna get their teeth kicked in..
It’s definitely an improvement but the vast majority buy on looks first. That thing is ugly. Like Yamaha ugly.
I wouldn’t necessarily care about it’s looks if it performs but if I had a wife, and I don’t, but if I did that might change things. I think the vast majority of spontaneous purchasers fall into the latter and their wife is having none of it. Pittsburgh bumble bee bold colors and the Dodge mirror spindles are odd esthetics to the opposite species lol
… of course I’m not talking about the dudes of RDP. All RDP dudes wear the pants and tell their woman to get back into the kitchen lol
Them bitches will run and buy it the first time they hear that anti lag popping and banging lol.
None of these things are particularly pleasing to the eye right now.. and the original X3 was never really that attractive in my opinion.
It’s going to be tough to really tell on sales because they only have the 2 seater right now and this is clearly a desert oriented car.
But I’ll go down as saying they won’t lose any market share on this thing once the 4 seater is out.
The wheelbase of the 2 seater is only 9” shorter than an 4 seat Turbo S. It’s big for a 2 seater!
That 2 step be makin bitches panties drop! Lol!!Them bitches will run and buy it the first time they hear that anti lag popping and banging lol.

All of it is good. The UTV market only improves from this type of stuff.
Polaris isn’t going to sit around and wait. They have some stuff waiting to compete. Maybe not revolutionary suspension type stuff but they’ll compete with horsepower and shift/auto transmission stuff. If they don’t go full kook with the looks they’ll maintain a strong following.

I'm not sure if it's just something I hadn't really noticed on other models, but it looks like the tires on this are in the true corners. As in the rear tires are back further than any other part back there and same with the front.
Am I seeing things?
Agreed, a lot more…Yea. They will be fine too. The Turbo R is gonna need some more power.
So am I to understand that the Speed car is now the 4th fastest SxS?Agreed, a lot more…
wow. thats crazy. Talented young lady as well. There is a video on Lia Block’s IG where she is cruising in Dessert at around 100mph. Looks pretty solid.
Welcome.I like the idea of being bold and attempting to redefine the category, but that’s a lot of money. I had my spot for the first one from the dealer I do all my biz with. Added up what I wanted on it…. $53k and it was going straight to a shop in Phoenix for R&D and tooling for parts. Figure I’d be out 2-3 months after picking it up.
I’m pumping the brakes and looking to see how it shakes out before being $70k in another car.
My current car has 265 hp, I’m interested to see how it does against the 240/DCT set up.

Yesssss
When the 4 seaters emerge, I would consider buying. The trans/engine combo alone is the selling point. The front end will either work or be replaced with an aftermarket mod kit. Much better bet to me than a Speed car.
You'ld have to be 4'10" to sit in the back of a Speed correct?Thats probably accurate until the Speed guys run e85 and 300Hp… but I see no need for that in the desert.
The 4 seat version of this car is going to be a bus. That and the lack of storage are the only real downsides I see.
I think the 4 seat Speed is size is perfect, and will be the best handling/sportiest 4 seater, as it is just marginally bigger than the Can Am and Polaris 2 seaters.

I've ridden in, not just sat in, the back and front seat of a Speed 4 seater. I'm 5'8" and was not cramped in the least bit in the back. It was totally comfortable. You'ld have to be 4'10" to sit in the back of a Speed correct?

Everyone just forgot about the upper armsThank goodness that looks much better.
Black upper arms and spindles might just make it okay. Cage looks good with the new body work!Phil Blurton's new R with 35's and an aftermarket cage. View attachment 1268643
Until you see it from the front, and then BAM - it sucks againEveryone just forgot about this upper arms

And it worked for him, so…The upper arm reminds of the bird stance on the Karate Kid at the end.
Looks like they had to run a different offset wheel to make that work, or not sure why they did?
Very cool........300K views in 5 hrs... SpeedUTV vid's on youtube are around 6k......this can't help Carl's pricing
Why is the new Can Am a “bus”, yet smaller than the Speed? Or am I reading your post incorrect?Thats probably accurate until the Speed guys run e85 and 300Hp… but I see no need for that in the desert.

Because this is only a 2 seater model, he's comparing 2 seat WB to 4 seat WB Speed. Why is the new Can Am a “bus”, yet smaller than the Speed? Or am I reading your post incorrect?
Not hard to tell at all.Hard to tell as you can’t see it from the side. That is an existing 6” wide ZRP 5+1 offset wheel drilled for 6 lug.
No one has good 16” tires for the stock wheels. They should have left 15” wheels on all models in my opinion.
I can’t find any specs on the stock wheel width. It is probably a 6”or 7” wide wheel.

Not hard to tell at all.
I have no clue, but I saw a video where a guy couldn't fit his finger between the tire and the knuckle stock, this looks like 2" now to me, and a 1" skinnier wheel, with the same offset isn't moving a sidewall that far, maybe 1" skinnier, and 1" different offset?Oh yes. I didn’t see that pic.
Have you seen any detail of the stock wheels are 6 or 7” wide? I have a feeing 7” wide by looking at that pic.
The car might be near 80” wide with this setup in it.
Agreed. If it’s a 7” wheel, even the same effective offset as stock would pull the tire away from the upright an inch to inch and a half with a 6” or 5.5” wheel.I have no clue, but I saw a video where a guy couldn't fit his finger between the tire and the knuckle stock, this looks like 2" now to me, and a 1" skinnier wheel, with the same offset isn't moving a sidewall that far, maybe 1" skinnier, and 1" different offset?
