Amen, we call that a last time buyer. We've been at MSRP no fees for Maverick R pre orders and been told by several that most dealers are trying to get ADMs on them. Crazy, at my dealership it definitely feels like the COVID party is over, I'm not sure what markets are still supporting large ADMs.

At the Sand Show Coyne was trying to sell one to my friend and they were knocking $1,500 off MSRP. My friend was close to pulling the trigger, but he ended up getting a Pro R.

I think the Pro R is a great machine as well, the DCT in the Maverick R is what is really going to set it apart from the field. I don't run across Coyne often given our proximity but I've seen in the past they tend to add fees back in to their deals, not saying that was the case on this instance but I have seen that prior.

Either way, sounds like your friend will be enjoying his new machine!

The guy swore there were no add ons. I have dealt with Coyne in the past when I bought my first X3. The sales tactics used back then were disgusting. There were going to match the price only if I purchased a warranty at full pop. If was quite entertaining listening to the crap the sales manager was saying to me. Left there and finished up my purchase with another dealer that was no B.S. Did that deal over the phone and they had it ready for me to pick up when I got there.

The Coyne service department and parts department on the other hand have been fantastic. Took care of my friend's SXS during a Glamis trip. He was having an electrical issue and they took his car in and got it fixed. Saved his trip. They will go out of there way to get people fixed and back out to Glamis.

Thanks! I got the R XRS in triple black. We’re really looking forward to its arrival! 👍🏻👍🏻
Excellent!

Did you do a smart shox or standard XRS? Give us a review once you get some time on it!

The SXS dealers along the river still marking rides up but in the greater outlying Phoenix area seeing msrp and “ask for our special discount” kinda dealios.

Not pre-Covid prices but not too far outta whack either if you shop around.

Maybe it’s the payment buyers that may be holding up prices and they are getting priced out.

Anderson in Parker has mark downs on everything on the floor. Saw a can am with 5500 off. Picked up a new Yamaha Waverunner for 3k less than I was quoted memorial weekend.

Good to know especially Parker. We have walked away several visits.
Especially the Bullhead location. We walked out our heads were swimming from the mark-ups.

Better deals to be had in Casa Grande. Worth the drive plus the services are way cheaper. Street legal kit installed way cheaper than Anderson and the better kit. Plus they did all our street legal DMV. Plate and registration in the mailbox a week later drama free.

Got 4 new take-offs for spares in Phoenix for the price Anderson was asking for one.

Definitely a changing market.
We’re waiting for these rides quality shake downs and what the mulligans and solutions are.

Wife and her GFs want the Honda XR150L Dual Purpose MC and dealers are still marking them up 50% to 100%.

I would love to know how you spent 100k on a can am?

It has to be fully custom? Like tube chassis or wild paint, stereo, long travel, motor work ect….

Break it down for us
Here is the build list on my Max I just listed. Believe me well over 100K into this car.
Its easy to do..

Any updates on yours now? We are picking ours up on Friday. What started as search for a used second machine really escalated.
The thing is pretty amazing! No ragerts! The transmission takes a little to get used to but it just does its thing

Did you have to do anything special for break in on it?

Other than the wheels and tires which are being changed now I’m pretty happy with it

How’s the fit and finish of the plastic trim? The Desert SXS unit seems to have needed an entire roll of gaff tape to keep parts from falling off.

Other than the door sensor not engaging when the door was shut no issues at all. That was a simple fix.

I was talking to those guys and they say at high speed you can literally see all the plastics lifting up.. lol. There’s a bunch of tapes keeping them on now?

Yes.
I know he Can Ams are traditionally not known for the best build quality, but that seemed a little extreme.

I figured it was just because their unit was one of the first off the line.

Casa Grande / Adrenaline is dealing on them if you’re willing to wait on a list.

We’ll wait a season.

The must of got the Friday beer thirty builds. LOL!!!

There are ton of plastics on that new Can Am and I could easily see them screwing up putting it together on the assembly line.

You don’t have to go that far for a deal. They were willing to negotiate in Havasu. You have to walk in there knowing a sale is going to be made either way. Either that salesman is going to sell you, or you’re going to sell him. I was not going to pay MSRP. I was just as happy to leave and give my sale offer to any of the other dealerships who all have them in stock. They had several in stock. Some of every trim level too. I only wanted the triple black with smart shocks and they had multiple in stock.
