The mechanicals have taken more time than I had expected, and I haven't even touched a key. Uncle Carl's Howard is running Desert Storm with her OG carpet. At this point, if I have any chance to make it, I'll have to worry about that later.

No idea....

Two names have been "floated":

Wish You Were Here

Uncle Carl's Howard

or, leave it the way he had it.

Anyone have any eye bleach? I just had a flash through my mind of Vicki Gunvalson spread eagle on the back of Brian's boat with his kids waving over the stern...

Wow, I had to look her up, was thinking she was someone from days gone by since I had no idea.

I have battery acid from a dead battery. That's all I got to "help"

After looking her up like Brian had to and assessing the scene, acid won't fix it........our minds have no delete button.[emoji12]

Easy deal, I quickly typed in Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, Eva Mendez, Eva Longoria.

My eyes feel better now.

Not my fault...Jayphotoglu had a damnd party for Gretchen Rossi...posted it and the outcome here. So one night i'm scrolling through the channels and found Real Housewives of OC. It's like three trains headed for the same point with a bag of cats in the middle...I had to watch.

When they do the wrap up show, the host always introduces Vicki as "the OG from the OC".

So I blame Dave.

We aren't friends anymore. :) No beers either. I can't risk you mentioning that story, ever again.

Tanks look good in place, does the sub floor rest on the tanks ? Does not look like there is an outside stringer, or does the sub floor just meet the side of the boat and get tabbed in.

Thanks!!

No sir.

Gunnel has a 90 in it for the floor to sit. The stringer sits a 1/2 above the tanks.

Starboard floor in. Took a break for some lunch. Headed to home depot for some wire and the shop to size the pickup tubes.

I know from your posts that your family's safety is paramount in this venture. I don't think there has ever been a GM HEI that was/is USCG approved. They have been installed in a bunch of boats. Open hatch no issue but anything with an engine cover would would not be wise. Legal marine distributors have screw down( not spring loaded) caps and vent screens to extinguish any flame that may be lit by the rotor to cap spark "jump". Please be sure your bilge blower is functional and pulls from the depths of the bilge. and USE IT.

safe boating. Caramel would wish no less for you and yours.

Thanks for the heads up and looking out. I am very new to this covered engine deal and I am learning as I go. This site and it's members are the best.

Big thanks to Budman and 240 Hallett, both of them came by for the last push. Things weren't going so well and I was getting down, so it was cool to have you guys here to get things done with some serious shit talking going on. Good times.
