Started out....Noted. :finger

Just so peeps know...this was not happybrianface. At. All.

That filter kicked my ass and I ultimately had to surrender and take the rear seat out to take the filter off.
Lol!!! ... All I kept hearing was "fuck", "you fucking bitch", "damn it", "fuck you" while Brian was dicking around with the oil filter. [emoji1]

Paul and I had a chuckle over that while standing in the shade drinking beer. [emoji41] [emoji482]

That aught to give her a lil more giddy up :D :thumbsup

So we were at a scant 36MPH with the fourblade and no stopping the RPMs on the way to the moon, to a satisfyingschoolbusride to 46MPH and straight up 5000RPMs with the 3 blade.

Now I can turn UCH over to my wife with no worries about scattering the propturner, and that makes me happy.

Unfortunately, NOW it needs SEVERAL football fields to turn and that really perplexes me. Considering it turned on a dime(relatively) with the 4 blade. Thinking next will be a bigger rudder, but we are going to run it this way for the rest of the season until the barn, for the horses, is complete.

I have to say, I had a good time heading UCH into the corner with as much speed as she would carry, making the turn, putting the hammer down and letting the dog eat and she what she would do before we had to shut down and go back the other way.

I would carry UCH into the corner at about 3500RPMs, make the turn and stick down to 4800RPMs and it would accelerate the other 200 RPMs on the way across.

I really like UCH, my kids love her, and I am sure it will serve my family for another 10 years at least. Well worth all the effort it took by myself, and everyone the lent a hand to get her back in the water in the timeframe we had.

Remote that bitch, it's under the hatch.

UCH does have a remote dual oil filter deal attached to the rear seat that looks like it has never been used.

I am not a fan of taking oil out of the engine via hoses. The fittings never seem big enough for the distance to travel.

Mopar big blocks have an external oil pump and they lend themselves more to doing remote oil stuff. The adapters off the oil filter pad are so goofy. IMHO.

We will see.

You forgot, "You whore!!"

Yea, that happens. I get a bit of turrets at times when it is hot as fuck out, sweating to death and it is drippin in my eyes and shit isn't going well.

I am glad you peeps were entertained. Dicks. :finger

Just ordered a short little nylon choke strap for UCH for retrieval backup and my piece of mind. Figured I'll wrap it around the winch post and carabiner that mess to the bow eye.

Pulling that heavy girl out of the water with just a single flat strap gave me the heebie jeebies, every time. Redundancy always makes me happy.

I love McMaster Carr.

forgot to get some more rope.....dang it.

Brian, there are thousands of v drives that have remote oil coolers fed by hoses without any problems at all. My Wood Decker has had that set up for 45 years or so with no problems... Boat looks great and you will love it especially after you get all the little things fixed etc...

I didn't have any GPS with me, but UCH picked up another 500 RPMs at Mohave, she was wanting to go to 5500 or more, I didn't test it farther. :)

This winter Ill see about flippin the gears and go from 10% underdriven to 10% over. That'll fix her up.

Good news is, I think the turning deal is magnified greatly by the MPH increase, at half to 3/4 throttle it turns fine, more throttle than that, I notice steering input needs to be greater.
She still turns, but not as good. I think the rudder could be a bit bigger, but those changes will be done in the wintertime.
