Drop a few gators in the lake and property values plummet? Won’t really have an effect until the Facebook posts of people missing limbs start to go viral….😜

There are a lot of people coming forward on various fb pages saying animal control warned them about the alligator down at the dog park..

At least one guy on rdp fb said he was down in the channel that night and saw it as well as the officers shining the light on it.

Why they didn’t shoot it is beyond me..
I’m pretty sure it is against the law to shoot them. Not sure if Federal law or just Fl law?

Oh it’s real.. lol. I talked to the cops earlier today regarding this.. well rather where I got the pic but that’s a whole different deal.

They are out looking for it now.
And they call me just before they called you ha ha ha ha.

Funny thing…
So earlier tonight I’m ready this thread thinking like others that if my wife hears about this it may be an issue when we go in 2 weeks. As I am reading the posts I get a group text from my stepdaughter who also has my wife on there. So I ignore it since I’m interested reading this thread and my wife looks at me and says “ So what do you think about the alligator?” I was like…Oh Shit. How do you know about the alligator? She said..Look at the text from Jenna. It was a screen shot of the RDP first post about the alligator. I told her I was not going to tell her lol. Hope they capture it soon

Just think if someone releases 2 breeding pythons in the lake. Like Florida you could never stop them from spreading.

Speaking of big beavers!

Desert Storm last year, stopped at the sand bar just south of the Devil’s Elbow on the way to Pirate’s and a huge beaver swam by!! Couldn’t believe the size.

I'm not sure they would have a policy in place that talks about shooting alligators just swimming in the channel.

4 ft beaver
The Beaver that stood up on his hind legs behind my buddy I was bsing with on a Havasu beach was damned close to 4' and his tail was still bent over supporting him --- so stretched out tail to nose, 4' is not beyond possible.
I'm trying to alert my buddy, like "Pssst, look behind you" and he's like " HUH, WHAT ?" --- " Shhhh, damn it," as I'm nodding my head and he finally turns his head and about shits his trunks. 🤣
About then Mr. Beaver said fuck you guys and waddled back into the water.

How come there is no real stories about it? I just saw a video posted on FB filmed in the day time showing an alligator swimming through the channel...with the same pic above saying it was caught...

*edit* - after further reading, the video is an old video of a beaver and the pic of it captured in a van is from a story out of Michigan a while back...so more fake news...
