This is like a big foot sighting with these picture resolutions. I hope it is just a beaver. But, from what others have said, it seems like the city does not want this PR nightmare if it really is a gator at the start of river season.

That image is a screen shot of a video.. they aren’t going to release the video

Probably in the drain pipe at south end of channel......not a good thing when some nut job sees the hysteria it causes and decides to up the ante....and remember there's a lot of nut jobs these days.

Suckers at 3 dunes right now
Arizona Game and Fish says "don't worry about it."

It was just one beaver.

Typical response from the all knowing.

Why should they get out from behind their desk to investigate? Their patrol boats are for pulling over innocent boaters for safety checks and the trucks are for checking for OHV stickers.

Back to your regularly scheduled program, idiot public.

At least it's not Park Rangers patrolling the water ways.

The beaver in the channel scared me July of 2019. Came right up to me to say hi. I thought it was a dog. Here’s a pic. It’s probably just him again

Oh it’s real.. lol. I talked to the cops earlier today regarding this.. well rather where I got the pic but that’s a whole different deal.

They are out looking for it now.
So that was the photo of it being released?

So let me get this straight. The crocodile is in fact a beaver. It appears from the video footage photo, the cop got a good look at the crocodile. My money is on officer Pederson correctly ID the reptile.

There was two cops at the scene and both are familiar with the beavers in the channel (of both varieties lol). They know what they saw. There is also a reason they aren’t releasing the video.. because it ain’t a beaver .

They are looking for it.

As for the rest believe what ya want, or call lhcpd.. they will flat tell ya what they think it is and what’s going on. Or ask any cop in town. Lol.

All these press releases are basically damage control.

Dave catches gator, becomes a Havasu hero and is easily elected Mayor of LHC.

My son asked me if we could go try to catch it. 20 years and some Coors light deep maybe.. lol. Old / handicapped I’m gonna pass on that.

If I had my old toon still I’d be cruising the area with a spot light looking for it

Considering the amount of money out-of -towers bring into Lake Havasu, It’s in the city’s best interest to keep alligator sightings out of the headlines.

I think it would be in their best interests to be honest.. but let’s be real here there isn’t anything honest when it comes to local government in small towns..

Remember when they busted that huge prostitution ring out here? And it turned out some of the investigators got caught up in it?

Weird how all that got shoved under the rug in two seconds flat and they all still have their jobs..

Or when the chick got busted banging her dude in the mayors office?

Or.. this list can go on for awhile.

If a person got attacked by an alligator or Caymen (even a pet) and the city knew about it and didn't say anything to the public that is far worse than just saying "an un identified animal" The city of Lake Havasu should be taking this much more seriously.

If the video is released, that would halt the tourism.

I guess they're waiting unlit it bites someone first.

The press release didn't mention the typical crap about "citizens shouldn't take action if they see the animal call the PD instead.." Sounds like they know what kinda town this is and will look the other way when someone pops a few caps in it in the middle of the night on some beach.

No shit! This is much more dangerous than the McConnell's White Lightning they served out front of Foxes! 😂

The odds of an attack are next to zero..

Especially with one this small.

If they do I’ll gladly pay to get exclusive footage if that
