@RiverDave Hell yeah Dave. Congratulations.
We've been reviewing membership and was about to revoke yours in the "Hallett Owners Group" for "Insufficient Hallett" Good save. :p
Awesome colors too. Can't wait to see it on the water.
Thank you. I appreciate the compliment.
I've always loved the Chevy 04-06 1500 crews and have owned a few. As well as a 16 and 17.
But these new GMC's are sharp. I looked at chevy, but really preferred the GMC overall.
PAVEMENT QUEEN. I highly recommend these new GMC's.
I wanted an old man truck for river duty as my daily driver has been a leveled F350 Dually on 37"s
2023 Sierra Denali with the 3.0 duramax. I get over 30 to and from Havasu and 22 around town. I did the paint matched fenders, removed...
We are in our 5th or 6th year. Site 112 Summer and 252 Winter. Stop by for a coldie. We are usually there every other weekend or back to back.
I’m either gonna switch out fifth wheels for a two bed two bath unit or find a park model. We are going looking today, actually.
But we love...
That' a cam driven pump. So the shaft won't turn if the motor is not running. My old 1966 Wickens with a blown FE390 and same pump. They work great.
Sold this about 3 years ago.
I agree. The last two weekends sum it up. It's all cats. Seems like nobody wants a big vee and they are being phased out.
But the big vees are my jam. I'm keeping my eye out for a 400. But have been looking online at east coast boats too.
I should add, when I'm done......I'm saying "fuck that" to any more projects. LOL.
The mini is almost done. Need to add the hatch and swim steps.
The 300T is almost done. Need's some clean up and transom maintenance.
The 270T is being rebuilt from when the drive broke loose and damn near...
Not if he enjoys doing it.
I was always being told "fuck that" a lot, on all of my projects. At times it get's discouraging to hear. But I stayed focused and the finished product makes it all worth it.
Being capped and having new tanks is a HUGE plus. What an awesome start. These boats are tanks. There is a couple running around that are rad.
I'll send you my cell on IG and we can talk. You can also check out the mini if you're looking for ideas.
Sweet project. Looking forward to...
Depends on the year of the boat. They wouldn't touch my '95 300T when I was looking to do the open bow conversion. Said it was too old. I recall being told the boat couldn't be older than 10 years. Don't know why that would matter, but it is what it is.
I'm sure that would apply to adding...
