No boat for the time being. Been working on an 89 porsche to keep my hands dirty. I have some changes in the works for this year so once those are all sorted out I will start looking again... Stay posted
I love the looks and cabin size on the Fords but I agree with you. My 200k mile 2013 duramax dually drives better than the brand new F-250 I had in 2018. Especially front end tracking and stability. Also towing stability but that might be apples and oranges from short bed to long bed/dually...
I ground mine off with a disc sander after catching her in San Diego with another man.. then followed up with some laser removal. There’s still a scar, which is appropriately symbolic.
Not a bad idea either way. I would also use the polished stainless pushlock 90's that TCM sells. Do not use aluminum fittings on water plumbing. The inlet water feed to the intercooler should also be relocated to before the oil cooler instead of after.
Same pulley for stage 2 and 3. Same...
I’m less interested in the engine as a whole for boats and more interested in the new heads that they designed. As soon as you can buy them bare it would be a lot of fun to play with them. They are essentially a mix between a massive BBC 12 deg setup with stuff they learned from the LS engine...
I think that boat used to have a whipple 525 in it that I either installed or worked on at one point... in the pics there is a boost gauge and there are two sea strainers. It also has a block off plate on the bottom left transom where the intercooler pickup used to be. Boat is better suited...
They charged 114.5 hours of labor (including disassembly of blown previous engine), looks like they also ordered a rig kit from TCM. So full diassembly and rerig including harness to the dash. The mounts and rigging are about the best I've seen in a daytona of that era, so I would say it was...
I have a pair of American Industrial dual pass cupronickel oil coolers, excellent used condition all cleaned up and ready for your choice of paint or powder coat. 1” female NPT ports for water and oil. These are the best remote mount oil coolers in existence.
Also includes black anodized...
I’ve seen it all the time at the tow yard because we cover sunset and PCH. The exotic convertibles are death traps. Not at all safe in a crash they just blow apart. The doors offer almost zero structural protection.
We had a Ford GT40 (2006 or so) that hit a tree sideways and blew in half at...
