If the junction boxes are metal you can look inside the back and see if there is a machine screw head, normally they would have run a #16 copper wire from junction box to junction box that is attached to this and this would be run all the way to or from the service panel. If this is the case...
Vandy can make some chips fly, and a cool dude to boot. Can't believe Gary has not stepped up to an automated machine after all the years of making one off boat parts.
I feel your pain on what you have invested cost wise not including the sweat equity, I tried listing my Dads 28' Campbell here and was told it was worth half what I was asking. The two brand new motors, new interior, and new custom trailer were worth way more than that alone. He had over 6...
If you haven't already post something over on performanceboat in the Vdrive section, sure someone there can help you out. I think the guy driving used to own the sea tow in Havasu or Bullhead or something like that. Or I could be completely wrong and be thinking of a different guy/boat.
Not sure per mile cost but when I sold my 1T crew cab dually to a guy in Chicago he had it shipped on an open carrier trailer for $1500.00 (I'm in San Gabriel valley). I bought a 2 door Tahoe a couple years back outta Oklahoma and had it shipped to AZ and it was about $800.00.
That's because you are in the wrong spot, you need to be closer to shore so you can see them sitting in the parking lots where they wont get transom black or water spots :D.
This makes my stomach hurt, insurance or not it would hurt so much to loose something that nice with all your time and efforts involved :(. Bottom line is no lives were lost or bodily injuries to anyone!!!
Schiada brand potato chips.........no one can have just one! So lets see a 10'er, a 20'er and now a 21'er, I think I see a pattern starting here :D. Awesome for you, starting with a beautiful piece I'm sure it will be sick when done. congrats.
Tanks look good in place, does the sub floor rest on the tanks ? Does not look like there is an outside stringer, or does the sub floor just meet the side of the boat and get tabbed in.
I'm looking to buy some lightweight long sleeve T shirts and have been stumped on what to get and what to stay away from. Was hoping some of the RDP'ers would have some experience with this. Not so much looking for the 50SPF clothing just something that is not junk that is so thin you can read...
Very sorry to read this Brian but fingers are crossed and thoughts and prayers are headed out to Mopar and your family, hang in there the best you can and lean on family and friends.
Congrats on the second kiddo to you and your wife. Well looks like you have a couple options, you could put a bench in the Schiada or get out the sawzall and make it an open bow. I mean you already got the ballast tank, will that Carson motor putt around at 15-20 mph for tubing :D.
I've had my Honda Harmony II for about 16+ years and two weeks ago I ordered a bunch of new parts from Amazon to bring her back to showroom condition :D. I bought new front and rear wheels/tires, new recoil starter, new bag, and all new cables. Everything is original Honda parts with the factory...
I caught it tonight on the show and thought "hey I saw that video on RiverDaves a month or so ago", very cool. My good friend adopted two of these guys (brothers) and boy are they a handful, one is pretty mellow but the other one more than makes up for it.
Boy that's a lot of Coors light and Bud light cans, the RDP gang better start tipping them back at a faster rate so you have enough material to keep working. :D
