That sure sucks. Now that the river season is starting up its time to check your fire extinguishers, life vest, and bilge pumps. Over stock your onboard extinguishers and make sure you have appropriate life vest for all personal on the boat. Infant vest are a big deal.

Guys. The owner of the Mti Dave and our other buddy Matt are ok thank god. I've known Dave for a long time and has several boats. It's just a bummer that this happened and frankly he is the last guy that would need to do a bogus claim. The boat has our power in it and we are all bummed about it. Not sure as of yet the cause but he and Matt are safe.

What we have learned is that people express their opinion and conjecture about stuff they know nothing about. This fact should be news to no one. This forum would only have about 10 threads, a LAM section and and a classified section if people did not post their opinions.

There was some kind of an electrical thing that happened mid cabin.. It shit down one of the motors.. Then there was some smoke and the thing went up in a big hurry.. Nobody knows what happened, including the people that were in the boat that were trying to find the fire and put it out.

This has nothing to do with alcohol, this has nothing to do with bogus insurance claims, this has nothing to do anything other then some bad luck that happened to a nice guy with a bad ass boat..
