It will, for sure. Good thing you aren't in a really bad location on TopangaI truly think it’ll be worse than paradise if it all goes at once.

If true that takes out the escape route south out of Topanga if a fire breaks out on the north end of the canyonSunset Boulevard close to PCH.
I hope Gladstones makes it. (right at sunset and PCH)
You should be good, that is on the malibu side, look at my post before yours. It's still a good idea to be readyI'm going to go home to gather up our important stuff just in case. I don't think it will get to us but it has in the past so I'm not taking any chances.
Those areas just went out in the last 5 min. Edison was reporting it out before it was out. LolLooks like a small area is at least. Shit tons of warnings though. I don't think they were expecting the real serious stuff til later today.
Like you do with picturesMalibu Feed Bin is gone.
How can I upload videos?
YaEd Laskos on fox11 spotted a small, very small spot fire in front of a house and is just recording and talking about it instead of running up to the house and grabbing the hose.
How he found it

Looking at the news now that I am home I think my daughters very good friend and husband lost theirs as well.My friend’s sister’s house burnt down. They live in the Palisades.
Common is 500 gallonsThis may sound stupid, but why not close off a major fwy and allow fire units from down south to get there?
Lastly, what amount of water do the engines carry?
The mutual aid contract they have is weird, my buddy is on shift in temecula and they just activated his OES team. I'm surprised it took this long for their activationLAFD is asking for any firefighters out there to call in, they need help. I find this weird as if they are active duty they already know about this and are being called in to assist whether on a strike team or back fill their departments stations for the guys that are on a strike team. The news didn't give enough information as to what they are looking for, retired firefighters that want to help or guys that graduated a Firefighter 1 Academy or both.

Shutting down the freeway wouldn't change arrival time much, 500 gallonsThis may sound stupid, but why not close off a major fwy and allow fire units from down south to get there?

Plus it's LA. There would be street take overs and mustangs doing donutsShutting down the freeway wouldn't change arrival time much, 500 gallons
They are in a bad spot, it's good they are getting outMiddle more towards Malibu
The water tanks are dry, the pumps that feed them can't keep up with the amount of engines that are pumping out of the hydrants, I don't remember the numbers anymore but the engines can pump 1500gpm or more X 100+ engines. The other thing is the pumps don't run without electricity, that's one reason DWP won't do a PSPS shut off, edison doesn't care. From a family member of mine:
I'm listening to a live feed of the multiple task forces and they are running out of water and the PCH houses along the highway are burning and there is no water... this is insane to hear!!!!
And crashing like leaving a car showPlus it's LA. There would be street take overs and mustangs doing donuts
