That Fox Video is on Sunset and PCH. I used to surf there all the time. The fire made it's way all the way down to the ocean already. This is going to be so fucking bad

From 405 and Culver Blvd, I could see flames with the naked eye

F'd up like 30 cars! That sucks. Poor people had to abandoned and run, they will come back to this. Better than being dead, but damn.

Side note, my fire insurance is going up guaranteed

Really? I just drove through and was getting pushed all over on the 118. Exceptionally hard by your main street.
It's weird right now, when I got off the freeway the wind was blowing pretty hard, at home barely a breeze

I was driving down the main street trough our city earlier....one side of the street and the flags and trees were blowing like crazy...the other side of the street flags and trees were at a complete standstill....it was very weird....

This is going to be a bad week. Stay safe, peeps, and have a plan to evacuate. Make a list of things you want to grab and keep it in a regular location that everyone in your home knows. Have water and flashlights ready. What is happening in PP could happen anywhere in SoCal.

This is right now, barely moving the palm trees across the street

Public Information Officers = 'Captain Obvious'.

Why do they even do these stupid briefings??? . . . Half the time is spent stroking one another and thanking each other for their 'Outstanding Leadership'. 🥱
The other half is 'Our hearts go out to all those affected, & know that you are not alone', nonsense . . . . oh yeah, and 'stay tuned & listen to your local authorities'.
Duh.
Gawd.

Yup. Newsome might as well just lead a stoke-off with everybody.

Sucks for sure. And definitely better than being dead.
But I bet if there is a next time they don’t wait until the oh shit moment to evacuate.

Over 100 actually.

Heard a dozen or so Teslas ran out of battery and blocked the road causing the issue. Just kidding 🤣

BTW, what you are seeing on Sunset with the cars will be Topanga Cyn but burnt with bodies in them. Parts of Topanga hasn't burned in over 100 years. For those that don't know the brush is ridiculously thick, it's hard to see 50' into the growth from the roadway. If a fire breaks out on the north end the only way out is south on a 1 lane each direction road to PCH.

It was clear in DTLA this morning, but smoke is wafting in and you can barely make out the large plume in the background.

Looks like a small area is at least. Shit tons of warnings though. I don't think they were expecting the real serious stuff til later today.
The larger area going south is Runkle Ranch, 10yo construction 100% underground, even the older area on the north end is underground. We know people up there and they are still on. @TPC are you still on?

Ed Laskos on fox11 spotted a small, very small spot fire in front of a house and is just recording and talking about it instead of running up to the house and grabbing the hose.

How he found it

I truly think it’ll be worse than paradise if it all goes at once.
