On RDC someone said that Max DNF Parker due to a broken turbo, one of the new ones. Anyone confirm that?
I never heard what happened but know he didnt make it far. He drove by us when we were lining up, car sounded like dog shit. It was running bad from the get go, something was definitely hurt before the race even started.

Just something for the public to realize here.. Max not only drives that car but lately has been prepping the car himself.

He’s 15 btw
My River Shore Estates neighbor- Brayden Baker has been prepping his own car for a few years, he's 19 now, and kicking ass in a lot of races.
Oh, and his Dad isn't Robby Gordon, nor does he have Robby Gordon resources.
This is a post from his Mom.

Not taking anything away from your friends son and he might not have RG resources but your friend clearly has above average resources by the looks of that shop lol

Yeah, same thing I thought having had many of my own shops first one being when I was around 15 and my dad stepped aside and let me take over his, it was fabulous for a 15 year old but nothing like that.….

The Dad owns/operates his own AC/heating biz., that's part of his shop. Obviously anyone who can toss money away on racing probably has atleast slightly above average resources. Don't get me started on what some of my neighbors spend on jet ski racing.

It appears he’s a great kid and his parents are supportive. We need more families like them.

Incorrect according to Travis Coyne.......
This could have come from an internal conversation at Coyne and the current status of Speed, they might have been discussing possible damage control from their end as a dealership and someone interpreted it as them severing ties with Speed. I would have to imagine any good business owner has these discussions to prep possible negative outcomes with any of the manufacturers and not just Speed.

FWIW Speed does not have its 2024 CARB cert yet. I am not sure how they are selling units in Anaheim, unless they are model year 2023? Anyone know>?

based on pics they have a ton built pending delivery after new parts arrive. All will be dated 2023.
Now, net new cars rolling down the line as of 01.01 will be 2024 and that cert could be an issue.

so we all know speed said the cars need upper cylinder lube for E85 300 hp. I know speed has partnered with VP fuels on other things im sure they are partnering with them on the lube as well.

M2 lube is meant just for this application, however with one big BUT. It's not meant for cars with catalytic converters.

question are all speed UTV's equipped with CATS or just CA versions?

nvm i found the answer, all speed UTV's have a catalytic converter. I would guess that top end lube wont work with them therefore not getting a speed key at all

Could you legally remove the Cat on an AZ registered one?

There are thousands of vehicles, whether in the desert or street, running lubricants and equipped with catalytic converters. There are thousands of diesels running motor oil in their fuel tanks as an additive to lubricate their fuel system and equipped with cats.

I think your confusing a corporate manufacturers CYA notice with reality. Kind of like everything manufactured has to have a “causes cancer” notice.

Pretty disappointed with some rdp members here..

I get some jokes. But to flat out accuse a guy of insurance fraud. He provided a description of the vehicle and a plate number. He just lost his stuff and is trying to locate it and that’s what the idiots on the internet say.

I honestly have no use for this on here. This isn’t rivertwits or IG.. we are better than this.
