Ignorance is bliss...
The only thing more dangerous than ignorance, is arrogance.

To assume you have the upper hand, has never worked well. Russia is far from a feeble foe. These are not farmers and goat herders. They also don't pride themselves on the diversity of their force.

Focus, Focus, Focus.

Putin is the problem.

Mexico will help us. Especially if we give them NATO protection.

NATO has about 3-6 more moves until checkmate. 😉

Then Jesus is reborn. And Paris Hilton is the new Virgin Mary.

I'll give it to you again.

Pull your head out OJ and when you say "we'll give them NATO protection" think of inflation and the reasons for it...........................as we fund the NATO cock sucking cabal.

We’re not going to fleece their streets. They live there. They can handle it how they see fit.

Russia’s been an expensive problem for a long time. And they are slow to catch on. 😜

Observers....
They're already there. NATO has some "observer" units there...I'm sure just observing.
Ukraine is currently "drafting" from the transcarpathian region. Actually, most of their more "persuasive" recruiting is anywhere there are ethnic non-Ukrainians...almost like they want to have Russia get rid of the less desirables or something.
Oh, that and burning churches and arresting preachers of the Russian Orthodox Church....
Now we know why they don't teach history like they used to.

If so, the Russian news sure isn't talking about it. If so, some poor guys are going to be needing a bunch of green paint. I think the desert tan would clash;)

Also, I wonder if this is another thing put out by the puppet masters to help Biden retire out. If Russia did get that equipment, no way in hell he'd run again. I guess it is a possibility though, as Russian planes were seen landing at our base not long after the "dignified removal of our troops"...

$80 billion in U.S. weapons!
Biden's crunching the number's. Yo, Vlad! Comrade. Another $10% and we won't blow it up in transit!
Dunno, thinking most would be transferred from Europe. I don't see Vlad sinking a cargo ship in international waters yet... I also think if it was shipped like that, it would travel with a carrier group, or just one sub as a silent deterrent.

Then again, you could have a Lusitania 2.0. It was sunk by a German sub in 1915. A major catalyst in bringing the US more heavily into the war. Then again, it was also rumored to have been transporting weapons, and another rumor was it's sinking was a false flag.
As of a few minutes ago, the Wikipedia page for it had just been updated today...

If Europe wants to pick a fight with Russia, Europe should pay for it. Blue Bloods been stirring up shit for centuries. U.S. has to clean up their mess. Screw that.

About the “gifted” armor, helo’s etc….was talking to a reliable “contractor” Tuesday about just that equipment. He laughed and asked if I knew how many cases of thermite was used, not on the broken down stuff, but on the even potentially repairable items.
Gotta wonder.

The videos of the soldiers leaving Afghanistan...They were doing everything possible to disable equipment, to the point of removing radios and electrical components with their bare hands. I'd think with tanks and artillery, you'd use whatever you could. Like the old "parts kit" AK's, with the receiver torched into pieces. The last thing I'd think any soldier wants is to have their own weapons used against themselves or their own.

While the Pentagon Fat Cat's and Politicians laugh all the way to the Bank, while banging their Secretaries after they fetch them their Starbuck's.
I think I'd be okay with the secretary thing...but think some of them sniff a younger crowd.

So, Victoria Nuland was in front of important people today, explaining that the Abrams tanks promised won't make it until after the "spring offensive". Committee members asking why, as they've been asking for 6 months for them.
The meeting was stopped briefly do to technical/communication issues. The chair said flatly, "It appears Wagner is attempting to interfere with us" 🤣

Later Nuland went on to explain that "we are working closely with the Belarusian opposition"...So wait for stuff to blow up there real soon.

White House has also told Turkey that Congress would be more willing to sell them fighter jets if they didn't stand in the way of Sweden joining NATO. Turkey has been pretty torqued over a Kuran burning incident last week in Sweden's capital.

Was reading somewhere this morning, it gets even better. We don't have the 50 tanks in our "overstock" if you will. Hopefully our guys get the 2023 models and they ship out the 1986 ones!

On a side note the market is up for the year, inflation is slowing heading in for a soft landing. Life is good. But I can't afford eggs, natural gas, or a new truck. How long will the house of cards last?

All I know is the media is 99% BS and whatever we're being fed is just that so I won't read one lie, or line I meant, that they print. Just sayin' don't think you know what's going on over there.
What I've been trying to do is read stories from here, there and everywhere else. Lot's of translation...some I can read. some I need help with. As with everything, the truth is somewhere in the middle.

Learning more and more about the ethnicities within Ukraine. The "Transcarpathian" region is apparently Polish, Hungarian and some "ethnic Ukrainian". I'm thinking the Ukrainians may be thought of as "hicks", or "rednecks". They are more country folk...kind of like the farmers in the east, where the fighting is. They are drafting, relatively forcefully (near kidnap in some cases), from the western regions. Mostly ethnic minorities.

Ukraine also has a serious border patrol department. Not keeping people out, grabbing any male 16-60 that's trying to leave.

I may be oversimplifying here, but doesn’t us sending Tanks and Billions in other Weapons, combined with the EU shipping more anti aircraft systems, indirectly say to the world Ukraine is losing and is going to fold unless we do more?

Take your logic elsewhere please...we all know Ukraine is soundly defeating the Russians...the arms and cash are purely for profit.

Ok, maybe half true.

Yes it does. Ukraine will lose without Western aid.

Putin has stated he wants to bring back the Soviet Union. It is in the West’s interest to help Ukraine stop this ambition, as the alternative is the war expanding throughout the former Soviet bloc countries from Poland to Eastern Germany.

Ukraine may not be successful, but further war and territorial expansion of Russia is assured if the West does not help Ukraine. Putin has made that clear.

Funding with billions in arms, "to stop soviet expansion" while simultaneously funding a fascist regime, is relatively counterproductive.

At this point in time, the Russians are not persecuting Jews, or burning churches. The Russian people did not declare national holidays for Nazi sympathizers, and do not choose their unit markings from the Reich.

There is certainly a far right movement in Ukraine, as there are in other western countries including the US, Germany, France and others. Fortunately it is a small minority not doing well in national elections. However objectively many in the Ukrainian far right movement support Russian separatists over the Ukrainian government. The fascists are backing Russia.

It would appear the policy makers throughout the West disagree with your conclusions that Ukraine leadership is currently a “fascist regime” or that funding them is counterproductive. 🤷🤷

Why don't you just try stating what's truly on your mind for once?

Putin is a threat to me and my fellow globalhomo's.....................

I really think it’s possible Putin is goading the US and NATO into war. The main reason I’m suspicious is the near total absence of the Russian Air Force. Second, the Russians demonstrated real skill in Syria, Ukraine has obviously been the second string in a he Russian military.
I really hope our Pentagon knows what they are doing……

It appears you have "far right", Nazi and neo-fascist slightly confused.
I understand you hate Putin...according to some he was responsible for Trump winning. We all know how you feel about that. There is a difference between communist Russia, and, as you put it, "far right" Ukrainian separatists. The ones you speak of, would prefer communism to being slaves to a fascist government, which is basically a puppet of the west.

It's not the Russians, nor their supporters, putting up statues of Nazis and printing books about Bandera. I'm more Anti-Nazi than Pro-Ukraine. Ditch the Nazi groups, and let them have weapons.
Arming Nazis is foolish, like arming terrorists or something...like every president seems to do. Must keep the war machine oiled with the blood of the innocent.

Russia has had fighters and helicopters for air support, but doesn't seem like much. Some of the missile strikes carried out, they say, have been from bombers. Haven't seen any bomber video, but others have popped up online through social media.

I’ve only been to Ukraine once and never saw any of these Nazi statutes put up by the current government the west is supporting or seen any evidence that the Ukrainian government or Ukrainian political parties in power were Nazis or Fascists as you state.

Obviously your experience there was different? Would certainly be interested in hearing about your experience there and how you have come to the conclusion that it is a nazi fascist government that the West is supporting in their fight against the invading Russian army. 👍

You're right, Russia hasn't done much using its air force, yet. National security analyst Dr Rebecca Grant, predicted that Ukraine is coming out as victor, once the help from the West, sending tanks and other military equipment to Ukraine. She sounds as ignorant as it gets. Haven't checked if Russia has new tank busters as the A10 the US have, but am sure guided misslle from an attack airplane could do just as well. Russia had the SU-25 Rook in the past, I'm sure the factory still exist and who knows if they burn midnight oil to pump them out since the tanks from the West are on the roll to Ukraine.

Something to consider is that the West’s definition of victory is keeping Russia contained and bogged down in Ukraine in order to stop their ambitions to reconstitute the previous countries in the eastern bloc.

We'll see. Russia built its own factory in Siberia to build tank busters.
Ps; as I said before, Russia isn't going to take East Germany, Hungary, Czech republic and Poland to establish presence there, since they're already NATO members. That action would definitely lead to WWIII, IMO.

That is certainly what the west is trying to preclude by arming Ukraine.

Here are a couple of misc. items from sources probably more left than right I would think. There is a fair amount out there from news sources not in NATO countries. @530RL It seems as the Nazi stuff was there for a long time, but "blew up" after the Maidan.

As for being in Ukraine, I have not. I had, some years ago, done some fabrication/prototyping for some people out there. That had led me to become friends with a small handful of people in the southeastern parts of Ukraine. Primarily, in and around Mariupol, and the farming areas just north. Most of these people I'd met in person in SoCal. I was able to keep in contact with them from early on in this, at the start of what people there thought of as a civil war scenario. Unfortunately, I have lost all contact with them. It's been well over a year now. It was neat for me, to be able to speak with people about covid and such, from countries over there. I am now having trouble getting consistent contact with my friends in Belarus. They are just mechanic people, husband and wife. He does paint and body, and she runs the business side. It was interesting to see their supply chain issues and how they differed from ours. Once again, nice to have "eyes" on stuff.

May be of interest...on a WWIII kind of subject...Multiple big explosions in Tehran and to the south in Hamadan (air base 200mi south) AA fire reported, jets scrambled. Sirens going in northern Iran near Rasht.
