Putin won't accept defeat...doesn't strike me as a gracious loser. I think he would negotiate to stay in power, or be "replaced" by someone more willing to

Russia is not like the smaller countries, like Iraq, Panama and such. The CIA "topple the government" would be a lot different. Haven't heard any rumors of children, but rumors of "disappearing" soldiers. Obviously heavily wounded are evacuated from the front. Rumors from the Ukraine side say that some are "put to sleep" with drugs, but aren't arriving home or in hospitals nearest the front. I think the biolabs were a part of it. Maybe what pushed Putin a little closer after Covid. He stood by and watched Don Donbass get hammered since 2014. I figured it protected my from fukery, and helped cover myself in case of an audit. In that world, it was tough to find someone with both. Sadly, a lot of them that couldn't produce those, went to other shops.

Honestly, until the past few years I never thought much about illegal aliens and the drug trade. A few years back, we had two seniors at the local school die from fentanyl. I'd never heard of it. Started talking more with my neighbor, high rank YCSO deputy, and find out how much they're finding along 17 and 40. It's not just fruit pickers and laborers, it's people with I'll intent.

I was too young to understand the Reagan amnesty deal. From what I've gathered, the government just gave up then, told illegals here "You can stay" while looking across the border and saying "but you have to stay there".
