All this and there is a "Entitlement Attitude" that they are entitled to Free Food, Free Education Housing, etc. BUT!! then turn around and complain that everything is out of control and expensive.
Nothing Is Free, and Somewhere, Someone is Paying the "BILL"
The Food Stamp Act was signed into law in 1964 by Lyndon Johnson. Following seven months of Congressional hearings and negotiations, President Roosevelt signed the Social Security Act into law on August 14, 1935. The law created, the basic framework that guided the nation's public welfare system for sixty years."Food Stamps", must be an Apply And Receive situation, as wherever I go from Grocery Stores to Convenience Stops, there is A "Food Stamps Card" (AKA, EBT Card" being used. The original intent was for "Basic" Food Necessities, and not Soda, Candy, and other treats.
Entitlement programs are not new.
