I have been checking the AZ auction site and they have events scheduled out through June 27th and so far the auction for the Foxs parcel is not listed

Can you share the site? A few of us were discussing the auction this weekend and it seems to keep getting pushed back...

Page looks like this.
Still nothing about La Paz County.

It’s been delayed until August I believe.

I've heard that there are rumors of condos being built there. It's a shame since so many people love that place.
But I found another great place to stay. Well, I had a wonderful time at the Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains in Australia. Beautiful scenery and great amenities. You can check it out here: https://www.fairmontresort.com.au/

Maybe @C-Ya can buy it with all of his Nvidia cash and we can all go there and drink for free!!! He's gonna need some write-offs anyway!!
Just out of curiosity………. How many condos or townhomes could I build on the property? Is there enough docking so every unit gets a dock?

Who would I have to pay off? So that I could build a 20 Story high rise? Oh what a view!

Dont worry……. I’d still have a bar on the bottom floor. However, drinks are going to be expensive. I am thinking $15 per beer. $25 just to park your boat. Maybe even an annual membership fee? Say $500?

Sure……. I’ll buy it! LOL

Maybe you should charge by length of boat for parking. By the foot?

Foxes is a place from the past. Roadrunner has taken over!

It seems to cycle every few years. Road was my go to back in the day, Foxs has been my go to for a few years now. Having young kids again we haven’t been to the bars since it got warm. Right now I’m really missing a Foxs trip.

But does anybody love it enough to buy it and take over the business?
Gentrification. Hit and run development.
Parker used to be so kick back, cheap,, graveyard of ambition.

I wager Roadrunner will be sold when re-development is complete and the market is right.

Nothing will ever top Foxes atmosphere and character on a quiet steamy summer night.
Maybe developers will still run it like what happened with Roadrunner.

I prefer Fox's and Sundance. But they were both dead each day. Roadrunner was packed. I hope Fox's stays. But from what I was told the land value is to much if it ever does get sold.

I love the staff at Sundance, the bartenders are good friends. It’s just not very kid friendly as far as seating and keeping them busy. The other thing I don’t like about Sundance, is that if you sit on the land side of the bar and look out at the water, it’s so bright outside that I can’t see anything inside. It has a weird affect on my eyes. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I assumed he was being sacastic to send people down to RR  ...but if he was serious, I agree go to RR! :) Fox's is 1 on my list of destinations...

Road had great breakfast until it closed. We always did breakfast there on Sundays. The French toast was the best.
That French toast was awesome! We just went for a day trip last week from Havasu.

I Had 3 mudslides and barely felt anything. Before the sale, 3 mudslides or rapers would have you trying to swim upstream naked.

The bartenders are watched on camera daily and get a list of things they did wrong and need to improve. With the new prices and weak drinks, I don't see myself going back anytime soon.

Had breakfast twice there this week and both were excellent, only place open early mid-week Cocktails were on point as well. Having said that we were two of maybe a total of ten people there for early breakfast! Id go back for sure!!!

…I think my first time to Foxes was 1964…When it used to sink…If the water got up to ankel heigth… the bartender would finally unplug the juke box…fun times… was on the phone with one of my old friends today… He was a bartender there mid 60’s.. He is now retired LAFD from the fireboats in the LA Harbor… He has some great stories about foxes👍

Well, Fox's Folks weren't too positive about the outcome. Once sold the "60 days to vacate" clock starts!
That would suck.... I thought it was amazing that all the floating bars were open this summer... the variety was great and helped getting a spot... seemed like last year at one point we had Fox's, Pirates and Big Ben ...we were without Sundance and Roadrunner...sure hope we don't lose the mainstay Fox's... but I don't have the disposable 7 figures to lock it up for the future...

My Guess was 4.22 million. Not sure if he knows anything but someone posted it would be double that. Guess it depends on how many houses or condos the city will allow on the parcel.

Even if someone's plan is to build houses or condos all around, why wouldn't they just carve out the spot where foxs is and keep it there! Kinda like what Roadrunner did. That's a lot of land! Would be sad to see such a iconic place go away..........
