This work?
I'm thinkin this one
This work?
Odyssey....... I've been using these for years in offroad racing.... Never had a failure.... I've broke frames, battery mounts, engine mounts, shocks, rims, Trailing arms, skid plates, sheared coils off, fuel pumps all at 10,000 RPMs and I still have the same battery.... It's a dry cell battery with the plates packed tightly.... You can mount them upside down if you want.... I will show you the specs later Glenn xoxoxo
Lookin good Glenn! Did you move the motor forward? Maybe it just looks that way from the angle of the shot. Here's a pic with the old motor

You guys never changed the strut angle?
:eek Why change a proven strut angle ?
This boat has more racing miles than any other Schiada built (according to Lee) It was Howard Haiges (dont knock on the spelling) old race boat and has seen the Catalina finish line multiple times. External rudder with cable steering and proven performance, why change a good thing ?
Couple of small leaks to deal with today but she fired right up :thumbsup
If you say so
The location and angle change on my 20' made a huge difference. feels like she carries the nose pretty damn well right now. :thumbsup
Oh! she'll carry the nose :thumbsup
Got 4 different props to try, and three different programs, we'll find the Sweet Spot :thumbsup
Where are you testing and tuning it? I may show up with a camera and take pics and record some video if you don't mind
Sent from my Bat Cave
used to ski race behind your boat "back in the day" when the late howard HAIG owned it.......lots of good times
also worked on the EFI with it when Billy worked on it. had lost of trouble with that intake with the injectors up high like that and poor angle entry into the port. if it still has the rochester 96lb injectors, thise things atomize very poorly and wet the port badly. lots of parts throttle driveability issues. newer style injectors help a TON.
Congrats on all your hard work. It looks killer!
Great weekend, got a lot figured out. Whole different animal with external rudder, very light layup so we will be adding more down pedal. Out of gear at 5500 RPM so we'll be adding gear. Reasonably good fuel mileage but will be adding some lumbar and side supports to the seat. Got to windy on Sunday to run, we'll be back in two weeks :thumbsup
Parker can't wait till he can drive it :thumbsup
Nice to hear things worked out well for the first test, congrats!!
As far as Parker, it's in his blood!! Great pic.
Glen you won't be out this coming weekend?
Jeff, you should of seen Krazy Bitch driving it :eek
Lead foot is her new name![]()
By "out of gear" do you mean out of rpms? What gear and prop are you running now?
