Did you read what I contributed above ?? I agreed they were promoting the shit out of the program, before, during and after. Hell yes they were, for the same reason EVERYBODY is promoting something, for $$$$$ or in their case, continued funding.

Did they confide in every detail, unlikely unless it served to PROMOTE something.

Now you're switching gears to suggesting that German or Russian scientists are conducing secret nefarious and hideous experiments they've deeply and secretly been harboring since they left their home countries ???

The X-Nazi soldiers I had the privilege of working with while in Germany were great guys and all had served time in an American POW camp.
I'm sure many of them performed the same ugly acts many of us soldiers were tasked with, but the vast majority don't come home with secret desires to kill our fellow citizens, nor did they. The worst those old guys came home with was a strong desire for American Cigarettes.
😁

Don't you have some shingles to nail down. Get ahold of rmarion, you need some schoolin son (Sorry couldn't resist), 🤣
Lol I didn’t mean any of that as a personal attack. More so that it’s amazing what this government can pull off and then divulge at a later opportune date lol.

Sneaking Ex Nazis in via the Vatican

Faking our way into god only knows how many wars.

Making radical presidents go away one way or another.

Etc etc etc.

I just don’t buy the moon landing at face value. Did we go? 99% of me says yes. Did it go down the way we read about it in history books? I highly doubt it.

This is 100% off topic but I remember being in highschool learning about the “Trail of Tears”. In our textbook (2008/2009) it was literally 2 sentences. Then our teacher spent the following 2 classes teaching us what really went down.

My skepticism of the Moon landing comes from learning truths/realities later in life.

I can also be a complete idiot and be wrong lol.

can't find the video or episode, but someone with more time than me can find it

This guy is a moron and completely swindled Rogan.

The cameras were in bunkers, and the shots were taken via a tube and mirror, and very long telephoto lens from very far away.

🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️

If you ever have a chance to go to the atomic energy museum you would be mind blown by the stuff they built to measure what was happening inside the bomb at the instant fusion initiates.

In later underground tests at the Nevada Test Site, EG&G had built these absolutely massive solid steel barn doors that worked on a charged gas hydraulic system, the bomb would be be placed at the far end of a very long tunnel, the doors would be somewhere along that tunnel (I can't remember exactly how long it was, but it might have been like a mile or something), and then at the end of the tunnel where you could access all of the sensors were aimed at the bomb. When they detonated the bomb all the sensors would be recording what they saw, and at some extremely short duration of time the doors would slam shut before the actual bomb's shockwave and heat energy could hit the sensors. They have these high speed recordings of the doors slamming like guillotines, we are talking 10's of thousands of pounds, and they would slam shut in fractions of a second to protect the equipment from total annihilation.

Absolutely crazy.

The Westinghouse Camera drew 7 watts. Average cellphone today uses 4-6ish. Now I’ll assume the lander used extra power to send the signal back.

So let’s say that’s all legit. How could it come back “live”? There would have to be a decent delay no?

Which then circles back to the Nixon/Armstrong phone call. Speed of light says it takes 1.5ish seconds to transmit the signal. So it makes sense that there’s delays between Houston and the lander.

But if you watch the footage Nixon starts talking to Neil like they’re just on the phone. I imagine that Neil’s signal is sent to earth and then transmitted in some way to a phone line (more time). Or a guy in Houston was holding his headset to the phone?

I don’t doubt we landed there.
I don't have any doubt about it not being live. It was all recordings, sent after the fact, presented to show what they wanted.

After all, this was the biggest thing to happen in recorded history, and America did it. Gotta get every inch for the money spent!

It’s not that far fetched to think Nixon had 2 scripts. One for them landing on the moon and one for the American people if they blew up. It wouldn’t be that hard for Armstrong to radio in his end of the convo either.

I still say we went to the moon but with all of the military secrecy/deceit that we now know of for the time. It seems far fetched that we just went honest Able for landing on the moon.
The White House did produce the document to be read in the event Apollo astronauts Armstrong and Aldrin died on the moon. I have posted a copy below.

As for the communications issues you again refer to, I urge you to educate yourself about the subject. The videos in the link I provided give authoritative explanation and operate actual Apollo hardware to show how the system worked. There's also a multitude of internet information about it.

Regarding your doubts about time and latency in those communications, radio waves travel at the speed of light, 186,000 miles per second. That's about ten feet per nanosecond, which is a billionth of a second. The delay between Nixon's telephone in Washington and Mission Control in Houston was nearly instantaneous.

The delay in sending transmissions between the moon and Mission Control was less than 1.5 seconds. That's not much more than the pauses in face to face conversation. Not only that, how do you know the recording you're listening to is an exact copy of the actual event? It's not unreasonable to assume that what you hear on the internet 54 years after the fact hasn't been edited for brevity.

You're a smart person. Don't act like a tomato and ignore the information that will provide you with the answers to your doubts Apollo communications.

The speech:

Fate has ordained that the men who went to the moon to explore in peace will stay on the moon to rest in peace.

These brave men, Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin, know that there is no hope for their recovery. But they also know that there is hope for mankind in their sacrifice.

These two men are laying down their lives in mankind's most noble goal: the search for truth and understanding.

They will be mourned by their families and friends; they will be mourned by their nation; they will be mourned by the people of the world; they will be mourned by a Mother Earth that dared send two of her sons into the unknown.

In their exploration, they stirred the people of the world to feel as one; in their sacrifice, they bind more tightly the brotherhood of man.

In ancient days, men looked at stars and saw their heroes in the constellations.

In modern times, we do much the same, but our heroes are epic men of flesh and blood.

Others will follow, and surely find their way home. Man's search will not be denied. But these men were the first, and they will remain the foremost in our hearts.

For every human being who looks up at the moon in the nights to come will know that there is some corner of another world that is forever mankind.

so... the Earth is 4x larger than the moon...

I'd think the earth image taken from the so-called "MOON" landing would be larger view.... looks similar in size of a visual of the moon from earth....

Lol 😁. To think that no part of the Apollo missions was a PR stunt is naive imo.

Take a look at NASA itself. The USA helped move Nazi scientists to South America (via the Vatican) and then brought them here so that we’d have a leg up on the Russians. You’re telling me those same people 20 years later went legit?

I don’t doubt that we went, landed etc. I just doubt the story we’re told.
Your assertion that the scientists recruited by the US government to emigrate from Germany to the US after WWII did so by secret channels with the Vatican and it involved traveling through South America is catagorically false. Operation Paperclip, as it was named, identified scientists who had been involved in secret weapon development during the war.

The US Army and the organization that became the CIA interviewed hundreds of scientists and technical experts, and they agreed to come to the US. The emigres were scattered across the country, some in military work, some at government laboratories, others at universities.

It's obvious some had ties to the Nazi government. Wernher von Braun was a member of the Nazi Party and had an SS rank. He was well aware of the fact slave labor was used to build V2 missiles.

But the USSR was denuding eastern Germany of industrial plants, scientific institutions, and key personnel. They didn't ask those people to go nicely. They were considered war reparations, and had no choice in the matter. They worked in virtual captivity, the secret research and science laboratories were called Sharaskas. Russian author and dissident Alexander Solzhenitsyn was imprisoned in one, and wrote a novel called In the First Circle about his experience.

That an organization to assist Nazi war criminals escape detection and arrest existed and that Catholic church officials in Rome were involved is true. The pipeline went through Italy to South America, mostly to Argentina. The Pope was not involved. The routes were called Ratlines.

I'll post a couple of Wikipedia links. That's the easiest way to learn about these two activities. I read the pages, and they're essentially accurate.

Alright @Taboma Buzz or Biden for president? 😁
Click bait, truncated from two separate event speeches, the original comments were regarding events during the mission and regarding why the US hadn't returned since.
I had the honor of meeting Buzz in 2009 @ Tri-Alpha Energy investor party celebrating the completion of their fusion reactor Norman.
Buzz, was an investor and of course a headliner guest speaker. He spoke of his moon walk and how he was looking forward to the excitement of Norman being the first successful Fusion Reactor.
In the 15 years since, they've accomplished major goals for sure, but the Holy Grail he was hoping they'd achieve, he may not be around for.

So many whining on here about the garage schools are teaching, yet the internet those same young people read and believe as Gospel, is polluted with lies and fabrications. 😖

Oh cmon the phasing colors are wrong and i’m not strapped 12” from a box 😁
Oh wait, but there's more --- But No, I'm retired and my sparky teaching and training days are over.
Besides, I learned my lesson a few years ago, trying to help a beloved "God Like" member comes with the danger of being shit on
with lies to the masses that I was a stool pigeon rat to the city. What a f*ckin Peach that guy. 👎

I will happily join in a discussion, I will offer suggestions, I will exchange PM's and phone calls. But online, I'll sit back and let you burn yer damned house down before I state anything that can be construed as being critical of your work.

So yup, looks awesome from where I'm sitting  Great Job Roofer 🤣;)

OH PS: I hope yer happy now, your co-roofer from P&G arrived and brought his Q-lesson plan ----- I'm going back to the pyramid thread. 🤣 ✌️🤞

It's in the little details that we know man went to the moon. The piss tubes on the apollo capsule had three sizes, small medium and large. Everyone picked the large and had a leakage problem while in zero gravity. A women came up with the idea of renaming them medium, large and jombo. True story.

Having seen the tiny Redstone rocket with the minuscule Mercury capsule perched atop up close…. I’m not even sure I buy the manned space flight stories any more. Who would be crazy enough to strap into a tincan with a rocket shoved up his ass?

Fuck an a Bubba.

PS. Look ma, no chemtrails.

You must admit that this Apollo 11 conference seemed like a funeral. Never seen this footage before, but to me all three of them looked somber rather than joyful about their major achievement. They did fidget a lot for accomplished men like them, you don't need to be a psychiatrist to notice it.

How high was the Mt Fuji image camera ? What were the temperature inversion differentials in order to calculate the light refraction ?

Don't discourage him. I'm enjoying the content.

🤣
I'm a huge fan too 👍 👍 👍, just a nudge to look a tad deeper than some basement dwellers Memes. No worries, there's no amount of evidence that can tilt his axis. 🥴
I was just considering that their version of a flat earth might not even be a disc, but a square or multifaceted, if any curvature is due to a fisheye lens. This would account for the old saying --- " I've been to all corners of the world" 😁

I'll just point out that 51 years ago today Apollo 17 astronauts Harrison Schmitt and Eugene Cernan landed on the moons surface. They were the last human beings to do so.
