Congrats on the new addition!
Negative. Just mild steel and will be powder coated. Are you building the trailer out of stainless?
Thanks Len!Congrats on the new addition!
Let me liveMig welded?! Wack. Start over
Hahaha I’m just messing with you. Great job dude can’t wait to see this one done!Let me live
I would if I could. Space is the issue. My friend finished his boat and wants a new trailer. Sucks that I can’t build it.So this winter, you still want to fix up my trailer
New ladder, new side steps, and fresh Mercedes Silver paint.
Go see what an adrenaline trailer is going for. Might be a new side business lolI would if I could. Space is the issue. My friend finished his boat and wants a new trailer. Sucks that I can’t build it. View attachment 1253382
That’s who’s building it.Go see what an adrenaline trailer is going for. Might be a new side business lol
They build a great trailerThat’s who’s building it.
May I suggest running a square tube or angle iron 4-6” blow the bunk boards and a kicker to the front like the attached? Some more progress. Been only getting sundays to work on this and baby is kicking my ass.
I miss calculated and cut the axles height too short. So trailer seems really high to me. But I told myself to load the boat and go from there. Fenders obvious aren’t mounted but you guys get the idea.
Grabbing the boat in two weeks to finish up winch, bow stop, lights, and all the other small items.
Don’t mind the bunks. Using something else.

I’ve been thinking about doing that all weekend. Boat only weights 2500-3000 lbs. So I don’t think it needs it.May I suggest running a square tube or angle iron 4-6” blow the bunk boards and a kicker to the front like the attached? View attachment 1258971
Also, runway lights.
I vote blueI’ve been thinking about doing that all weekend. Boat only weights 2500-3000 lbs. So I don’t think it needs it.
As for runway lights. Still debating on color. Blue or amber.

Cheaper. $300 vs $2800 lolTrailer is coming out bitchen, why’d you go leaf vs torsion?
And I’d do amber, and blue!

Time is running out so I ended up buying the recess slimeline panel. Was going to make them flush myself but woulda taken too long. Not sure if I will leave that polish stainless or powdercoat dark silver or black. Will address that later.

Made plasma cut jig for the bezels. Be more consistent cutting and not all crooked. Height is the same as the frame. View attachment 1266881
Put some resin on the bunks. Hopefully last a little bit longer.

Welded mounts for the walk way panels. These engines are tricky idling and I usually slowly pull up to the trailer and walk the boat in. Well one time I slipped on the bunks and ate shit. So hopefully this helps.

Then finally lifted the boat and test fitted the trailer. Now
I know where to set the ride height for the fenders.

Kinda happy kinda not. Wish it was lower. Wheels do seem big so might get 17s instead.
Goddamn that’s ugly ahahaLooks great Chris, but I am compelled to note that Chargers fans everywhere continue to weep...

Thanks man! You’re welcome to roll thru anytime. I’m in orange. You are a very talented individual and I would love to check out your shop.
I can’t OCD on everything. I will get nothing done. I totally get what you’re saying though. On a super time crunch.Since the boat obviously is not going to ”roll” on the front roller, why not fabricate a custom fitted “V-block” to match the shape of the center pod? The cheap roller looks like an afterthought IMO. The rest of the build is amazing like most everything you do.
Thanks man!As always, BEAUTIFUL work!!! It's turning out amazing! Keep it up and thank you for the updates!!
Thanks man, Shadow trailers got them. It’s not on the site.Could you share the link for your recesses for your slimlines? You're not the only one
As always your work is top notch! I think you tire and wheel setup looks good!
Ahhhh sneaky little suckers! OThanks man, Shadow trailers got them. It’s not on the site.
I’m adding a limit strap cause I didn’t want the rubber to leave marks on it. But thanks for the heads up. Didn’t think that would crack it. Thank you.Looks great!!
note: the ladder / bumper, against capped boat, and even not capped boats, Don’t run down the road or put on trailer touching the rubber. It’s can and will crack the cap
Mine cracked and rubbed some flat spots in the fiberglassI’m adding a limit strap cause I didn’t want the rubber to leave marks on it. But thanks for the heads up. Didn’t think that would crack it. Thank you.
Do you smack the bumpers pulling the boat in?Mine cracked and rubbed some flat spots in the fiberglass

He doesn’t but i do, i drive his boat more than he does!Do you smack the bumpers pulling the boat in?
