This is true, and all thousands of them have no biz driving anything other than an Ivan Stewart quarter dropper from 89'.

LOL, Damn I miss playing that game with the "NITRO" button!!

Cool update tonight.

Car is 99.999% done. They have green lit everything for production and are waiting for just a couple parts back from suppliers for final approval.

Got a view of the production engine/trans/clutches drivetrain package. The clutches on the car a huge.

RG and engineering team will be touring the factory and suppliers for QC starting in a couple weeks.

The order in which the buyers orders are going out have nothing to do with how the cars are being built. Buyers orders are being sent based on who your sales rep is assigned to your car.

Havasu deliveries will be prioritized first, then deliveries to dealers in other regions, then remote customers.

Once again they will be contacting you to make sure financial ducks are in a row for financing 30 days before delivery.

So your number in line is not how they leave the factory?

They didn’t say that, but where you want the car delivered may change the delivery timeframe. Makes sense, why would they send one car at a time to a dealer? Just wait for a truckload going to the same place.

They have said most of their sales are for Havasu delivery.

Are they planning to deliver at Hastings? I figured that seeing some level of rehab activity there would be a sign the cars are coming.

That’s where they will be delivering.
LOF
what do you think they meant when they stated they were prioritizing deliveries to Havasu? does that mean they will build in order but Havasu orders will go out first?

I don’t know for sure, but that is what I took it as. They said they want to deliver as many cars as quickly as possible. To me that means getting as many to Havasu as possible, because that is where the majority are set to be delivered to. I bet you’ll be waiting a bit longer for a So Cal delivery for instance, at least until they have enough to fill a truck going to your destination.

That makes sense and how I took it.
We will get ours delivered to Havasu, have a place in Parker, AZ so not a long drive for us.
Cant wait, we're getting close!

is delivery something that can be changed? For example if someone is set for socal delivery but would rather have it earlier and doesn't mind a havasu pickup?

No that is not it. It’s for the final written confirmation from speed. They are grouped by sales person vs in order. Build is still in order

I had a plumber buddy retire over there! He now has a 25 year old wife and can only do 6 months at a time over there! I don’t think he speaks Thai….

Maybe they speak the international language …..

I believe you can call them and change that, yes. Reading between the lines, I think that is what they would like you to do.

No. I'm saying common sense, smart business practices, and making as many customers as satisfied as possible.

Which is exactly what they outlined in last nights presentation when they said Havasu deliveries are being prioritized, and there will be launch events scheduled for customer car pickups in Havasu. :)

If they can bribe you to come to Havasu to pick up your car with a Vienna sausage and a Coors Light they will, because it is easier and cheaper for them, and faster to get cars to customers.

Sounds like they don't have enough drivers/trucks to ship anywhere but Havasu. I don't think anyone saw this coming.

Yes!
So all us 'Haters' can nitpick every conceivable flaw on every Speed UTV that comes off the production line.

In before LOF

Quoting this for when it happens to point out the double standard applied to ol’ Carl nitpicking Polaris’ flaws. :)

I'm sure Cral will be the first to point out any flaws present on the Speed UTV. ;)

No, I bet someone that called Carl a douche, ass or whatever other name for doing it will point out something first 😉.

Can we get that guy a typing test? Maybe an RDP WPM showdown?

Poor bastard can’t even read a time stamp, how do you expect him to type? :)

He already admitted typing defeat anyway. No need to kick the man while he’s down.

I could see RD there showing you posts from these haters as you typed away. It would be like smelling salts for a weightlifter. They would stand no chance.
