RG hasn’t had good luck at the hammers, because one has to be good at rock crawling. Not a Speed UTV issue.
Cameron and a few others have adapted to rock crawling pretty well when they get the right help.

What I was saying is that if RG wanted to prove a point at KOH he would be best served by putting a few people in a car rather than try and do it himself or with Max. I had a few more people that come to mind, hypothetically if I wanted a fighting chance in Johnson Valley.

The Gomez Brothers
Dan Fresh
Randy Slauson.

Hypothetically I would pick these people not only for driving skills but for the knowledge of the Hammers they have. It takes more than knowing how to rock crawl, there are so many lines in the trails and desert that you have to know the place extremely well. Some might call them cheater lines, but I think it's just putting in the time to know the area.

I don't have a clue if the Speed car was built with this terrain in mind, but I think hanging with the Ultra4 vehicles in a UTV is pretty impressive. Even more so when you win a race in the same terrain two days earlier. I thought Randy in the Bomber would smoke that Can Am off the starting line, but he did not. The Golf Cart kept pace all day with vehicles that had way more HP and Tire.

Maybe I am naive, but I think RG is the kind of person that could field a UTV in the main race and have a shot at winning KOH with the right driver, team, and homework. I would love to see it.

As a consumer seeing a vehicle perform in that hostile environment gives me the perception I would get a decent vehicle for trail riding and doing the type of stuff I would want to do and not have it fall apart. I get it, these are race-modified race vehicles, but The Win on Sunday sell on Monday campaign still works. Some might say you can do that in Baja, but Baja does not have all the media focused on the entire course as KOH does. KOH is still growing, I'm not sure SCORE is in the same position.

It's going to be really fun to watch the marketing unfold when these Speed cars start hitting the market.

Good points all around. I’m sure there will be a purpose built Speed UTV entry at KOH next year. This year it would’ve been a bad visual I think.

Heger was doing pretty good in the YXZ until he turned right instead of left.

Thanks for above post. KOH Stream coverage was awesome this year. Amazing Shannon Campbell runs solo and placed 7th. He did say on podium he will be installing 2nd seat & co driver going forward.

Ok I just completed my DocuSign final orders for my first 2 cars. Have until 14 Feb to make any changes before everything is locked for production. I still have 6 cars for sale now if you’re looking.

What is required at DocuSign time? Cash or finance, more $$, or just a buyers order to confirm build?

Nothing, just signoff confirming your options, colors, etc. It also gives you your balance due.

I do feel a little bit like I won the lottery today.. I have bought a few and sold a few and I wasn’t sure if I had configured my two seater el Diablo.

I called today to configure it and it was already done and paid for. 😍

Still need to add that 4,000.00 fuel tank to go racing but I am struggling to stomach that.

Can you pick to have it delivered to Havasu if you don't live there?

Carl, serious question...If Polaris cant get parts is Speed ready to assemble 2000 units per month? 10000 units by July if they start next month as planned.
Thats a shit load of parts and pieces. Tough to get anything in large quantities right now.

With all the material delays I bet Can Am releases nothing new for another year

Last time I checked, Speed does not have Ride Command or the need for all of those extra chips, etc.

Speed isn't going to start making these to build 20 at a time and to start and stop the line. They may experience supply issues, they may be taking all this extra time to mitigate those issues before they start.

Carl, you really sound like a fucking douche! I have a pre-order car with Speed and I am a business owner as well. It makes no sense to me why you or anyone else gets pleasure from companies set backs!

I mean parts in general. Not shocks that polaris uses

Speed is making way fewer cars than Polaris does.. I personally don’t think they are stupid enough to make 20 Speed UTVs and then stop because they don’t have parts.

This is another thing that there is no point in worrying about, because it just is what it is and it’s not our job to solve their supply chain.
