There's a few "assumptions" here, I bought my spot from someone, he was not fed up with the wait, he was having a child and decided he needed the money. In fact a month or so back he called me and offered to by his spot back, so I he was not fed up. I also have a couple friends who have sold their spot, not because they were fed up, but because they wanted to buy something else, non UTV related.
I'm sure there are some who are selling because they don't want to wait, but to assume that the only reason spots sell is, well, an assumption.
I am not going to be a fan boy for Speed on here, but really, you can tell from some peoples post, that they just want to dwell on the negative.

These are the exact people I am talking about. If the car came out a year ago when it was suppose to then he would have bought it. It took 2 years and now he has kids so he doesn't want it anymore. Its only because it took so long he is selling his spot to you, plain and simple.

And had the car come out a year ago that person would have had to sell the car anyway because of a life changing event....same difference. My guy would have done the same thing to help fund his kitchen had the car come out already.

Find someone that got sick of waiting, sold their spot and went an bought another brand new car.

Yes those people exist, but there aren’t a ton of them.

You typed "But you bought the spot of people that were fed up and just wanted to get there money back before it was too late."

He wasn't fed up, he had a change in life, and you must have missed the part where he recently called me to ask if I wanted to sell it back to him? My friends who sold, weren't "fed up" either, they just decided they wanted to buy something else. They ALL would have sold whether they had the car, or only a reservation.

You are literally making your own reasons up.

its not the tesla model. Even if it was stop comparing it. Its not fair to Elon, your making Robbie sound smarter than he is.

I do have a serious math question.
They claim 2000 units a month now. Thats 66 per day with a 7 day work week.
A few presentations back they stated 20 minutes per car. Thats 3 per hour.
24 in a 8 hour day.
SO Im guessing there is more than on assembly line or there is one line running 24 hours a day and NEVER shutting down.
Right?

So, by March they need 50 employees to handle 66 units per day. Because if 66 come of a line per day they need to ship 66 per day. SO thats 8 to 12 haulers each day.

Im not starting shit, really. Legit question which Im sure LOF and Carl can answer.

my math led me here too? all of this in only a few months away. This from 3 week ago where they said they needed to figure it out still

According to Ms. Psaki, NOBODY who has a deposit in is worried about that.
NOBODY who has watched all 90 video releases has any concerns.

Maybe they should be.

You are right, it isn’t the Tesla model.. the price didn’t get jacked up on us and we aren’t getting a car with less range than we were sold initially.

As far as your math problem, that is their job to figure out, not mine. I’m not their logistics or HR person. Who cares besides naysayers? No one that has a car on order cares how many fit on a truck, and how many trucks they need, and how many employees they need. They will figure it out. They were able to get the entire chassis welding set up in 6 weeks when the RDP armchair experts said it would take 9 months, remember?

Ouch, more pummeling...
I haven't been called "dingleberry" since probably 5th grade but yet somehow, your comments to most here ring similar to the school yard.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Well its bludgeoning actually. And with your stellar comprehension skills I can’t blame you for the mistake. It was only a matter of time before it happened again.

Like I said, every time you get proven wrong you magically vanish from the conversation and then resurface like nothing happened. You have literally 0 credibility in all this.

Find a customer that cares about Speeds logistics challenges and is troubled to the point of selling their spot... Just one.

Nope.

I wasn't proven wrong and yes, you did change my comment to suit your responses.

I've gotten over it even though I was traumatized a bit.

If I disappear for a bit it could be I'm living life. I understand RDP and the Speed thread are your be all end all but it's not the case for everyone.

Lol you were 100 % wrong and are wrong again. I didn’t change your comment, I can’t edit your posts.

Keep digging dingle!

Find a customer that is worried about logistics and is gonna bail.

I’m out for the evening. I’ll come in tomorrow hoping you prove me wrong :)

I didn't claim you edited my posts, you re-wrote them yourself and changed the entire wording and meaning.
If you stayed with quoting me you'd be unable to claim whatever kind of victory you think your getting here.

I'm not here to prove you wrong and really have no idea why you are so combative with anyone who isn't following your thinking.

Enjoy your evening and maybe tomorrow you'll relax a little and find people will stop picking on you if you quit presenting such an easy target. 👍

Its just a math question that i thought there would be a answer. Guess not.
At 2000 units a month and 15000 ordered technically i could buy one by june in a dealership.
Means all the orders will be filled for deposit holders by end of may?
Am i missing something?

Im seriuos. This summer i can pick one up at the hastings building from what im hearing. Sweet

Come on, man. You’re the one actually claiming (over and over) that nobody has bailed due to frustration. That equates to you KNOWING approximately 4,997 (minus yourself, RD and Crazy Cousin Carl) other deposit holders and KNOWING they’re all happy and content. Now you’re asking your nemesis to find one and prove you wrong? 😂 😂 😂

Objection, your honor!

Did you see Latest speed update video posted above. When RG went in engine dyno room, that engine had 400+ ft lbs torque. So there’s no need to worry about that Pro R model 4-cylinder. It’ll be like an annoying little fly. Lol

If they're getting over 400 ft lbs of torque, that's impressive for sure.
I didn't watch the video but did they say that was the same as the production motor?

they didnt even show the motor behind the gauge lol so who knows what motor it was. the video was showcasing the R&D shop they used for the engine. not the engine itself

Find where I said no one has bailed due to frustration please. I’ve always said a small subset have left due to frustration.

I asked him to find one person. I know a few are out there. He won’t, he’s incapable.

Don’t be obtuse, you said I changed your comment to suit my response. You’ve completely backed away from the premise now after arguing the point for a day straight because you were proved wrong :)

You’re assuming they ALL would have sold if they had the car. 😜

My two friends that sold their spot, I'm not assuming, I know they would have sold even if they had their UTV's in procession, The person I bought mine from, I am assuming, but he called to ask about buying his spot back, so the point was, those that I know, didn't sell because they were fed up with waiting.

Yesterday after going over my order on my El Diablo with SPEED and confirming my build it will ready sometime in July.

I’ll probably have a heatstroke before I get it the 3 miles to my garage.

After the clinic, the CanAm's put on this week I figure they are worth every penny.....If you can find one. :)

People don’t have a ton of time in the new Polaris platform yet.. it’s going to be interesting to see if they can best the Can Ams.

I hope that all the Manufactures invest in racing. It is really good for the sport. I am sure Polaris would like to knock CanAm off the podium at KOH. I also would like to see Robby put together a serious effort with a few seasoned Ultra4 racers in cars and not just him and Max. Robby has not had great luck at Hammers. If I could pick one Ultra4 guy to put in a Speed car it would be Randy Slauson. He does not play golf, so he might not agree to race a cart.

RG hasn’t had good luck at the hammers, because one has to be good at rock crawling. Not a Speed UTV issue.
