Building seats and side panels.

The rebuild is looking great.

I like the blues. I think the interior will look great with dark blue carpet, and some nice blue vinyl tuck n roll stripes. The boat has its design from the 70's & 80's.

I went through this in 2005, when I had Eliminator Boats replace my interior. My boat has a lot of browns, and the original interior had dark brown carpet.

I didn't change a thing. I had a classic boat, and I wanted a classic look.

I think black or dark blue carpet would look great.

I'm either going with black or grey carpet. Seats and side panels will be all white. No color.

I'm not sure if the hose routing in the second picture will work too well. Lol!

They are all zip tied up now.

I just need to build the hatch. Have Martinez do the interior and hopefully I'm done for awhile. Still need to buy stereo stuff though.

I'd stay away from sweeping lines like that. There aren't any graphics on the boat that have radiused lines like that. Everything is very angular. I'd go with either stripes that are parallel or hockey stick type shapes.

I agree. I'm going with the same design as eliminator had it because I know it works. You might want to talk with Eddie. I had some ideas, then he and my wife changed my mind.

I don't want the same angled stripes that guys have been doing for 100 years.

Then do vertical, horizontal, hockey sticks in the same orientation of what you drew the swooping lines. It would just look quiet off to have swooping designs on the seats when everything about the boat, hull shape, graphics, motor cowling shape/lines/graphics are all angular.

I get what your saying but were hockey sticks ever cool or did it just date boats.

I like them when they aren't over the top or over powering. I think they are clean and a tasteful way to add some accent color.

I'm seriously considering all white and double stitched. No tubing.

That's pretty modern and current. I like simple myself. Although with my 20 it's a 78 and I wanted to keep it looking retro so I had the stripes and logo saved.

Pretty much on my 24 I wanted it not to detract from the deck being white so I went with white and double stitched.

Oh. You gotta do blue. White seats are gonna look really good in that boat.

I'm pretty sure that's the way it's headed.

What color carpet?
Black, Grey, Blue?

You will never regret doing grey carpet. It's neutral. Matches everything. Those are my go to colors for interiors from here on out. All whit seats with grey carpet.

Eddie must be swapping yours in for mine. Mine should be done by Halloween. I should of done what you did and do the wood myself. Looks good.

Your 21 was still in the paint booth today when I stopped by. Your not capping any of it?

Thanks. My father in law is a wood worker so that helped out a lot!

Nice work. Mine are drilled into the stringer and I don't like it. I will be making some brackets made over the winter.

Thank you. I ordered 2 pieces of 3ft long 1x1 1/4 thick. It was cheap from McMaster Carr. I need to drill the shitty holes out and put fresh glass in them. I also got 1/4 counter sunk allen bolts for through the seats.

No. It was that, or do the transom and floors. Back was already capped.

Side panels and seats glassed up. Think I'll need more then 1 layer of glass on each side of the side panels? IMG_3909.jpg IMG_3910.jpg

Got a new trailer plate frame yesterday. Thanks for the party Eliminator.
