You better blast him on S&F. They hate that shit over there. He won't be able to sell that thing at all after that. If he actually has it at all.

There's 2 threads going already and Greg the owner of Scream and Fly wants to talk.

They better, I had similar difficulties and Master card was right on top of it..... That guy is quite the prolific scammer by the google search. He's been hitting every high traffic motorsports forum there is it seems.

Keep in touch with Greg, he's a great guy and will help you as much as he can. I'd stop posting about it though, the regular trollers there are all over it and most of the time it goes sideways.

I have a nice couple freshwater cases that need thread repair. If they come out to my satisfaction I'll hook you up.

Cap one seemed eager to help but we'll see.

I'm waiting for Greg to call me. We tried to talk yesterday but I was too busy.

Let me know what you have for cases.
Thanks for your help.

Sorry about your luck on that. That guy deserves a beating. It's sounds like he does this regularly. WTF is wrong with people?

Yeah I should have known better. I googled his name, address and phone number and checked his screen name on s/f but didn't google it. My bad. I talked to the guy, emailed, text. The whole nine yards and I still got screwed. Oh well. Live and learn I guess.

It's still a fair price at $1300, but I hear you on the principal of the matter.

From this site right here they claim his IP is in Nigeria

http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1495318

I called Wells Fargo. The bank he wanted the money sent to and confirmed that his name matched the account number and it did. It's the only info the bank would give me. It matches a US bank with the name he was going by. It is what it is at this point. Capital One has refunded the money and is doing a investigation. Now I just need to find another gear case.

You might want to hit up F14 / Brian here on the boards. Here has a good 3 liter Sportmaster lower for sale.

Hey. We aren't all rich. Give me money I'll finish it faster. We've had a baby, my wife is out of work. I think I've done a damn good job of getting it done.

Come on!! we are not talking about being rich!!

It is IMO you have taking for ever to finish a very easy project.

So sorry to offend you and others.

You're doing just fine- a working guy, doing a lot of the work himself..... Keep pushing on. Hopefully this guys comment was just a poor attempt at a joke.
I was dropping my boat back off to Martinez, yesterday. Your is looking nice, real nice. I'm gonna tell Eddie to redo my side panels. I like yours better! I don't like mine after seeing yours.

Says the guy who is trying to sell a 18 year old 19' Daytona for $13,000 with no motor or pump. And by the way that boat has way more than 5 hours on it. Look at the delam on the top sides of the water divider where it meets the hull.

They sell brand new fiberglass sitting on a brand new trailer for that price.

If you want to come on here and make a bunch of enemies and get the finger from everyone, keep right on the way you are going. This thread happens to be about my good friends boat, so piss off and take your comments with you.

Are you for real? Who cares how long it takes him? It's his project. It's not your boat and you're not paying him.

I like a good joke every once in a while but acting more like an asshole when called out on it is not amusing.

Yeah. A complete re gel. New interior, built my own seats, rewire, new gauges, new steering, trailer redo, boat cover, bimini top, on 1 income with having a baby, doing everything myself. Yeah I'm sorry I couldn't rush through it in a month while running my own business. I think in 9 months I've done a pretty damn good job.

Some people on here just throw a shit load of money at things and expect them done in a month. I applaud your efforts sir. And the boat is turning out great.

Thank you sir. I saw your boat there. I made Eddie copy your panels. How are you changing yours?

I'm still on the fence-
The grey he put in them between the front and rear seats and in the engine compartment. He said the all white wouldn't look good. Too much white and needed something to break it up.

You guys are very fortunate to have access to such awesome upholstery shops. I'd have to travel hundreds of miles to have that kind of quality. Way cool guys!

I've been watching this restoration from day one. Amazing progress and results. Great job NBNP!!!

I'd be proud to roll this Beauty. The fact you did all this work at home just makes it that much cooler.

I didn't want the angle stripes. Or any color for that matter. Eddie talked me into the color in the cubby's and I like it. I also didn't want side pouches because I'm putting speakers there.

Thank you very much. It's been a lot of work but I'm very grateful for what I have and a supportive wife and I know we will enjoy the boat for many many years. It will be a great boat for my son to grow up in. It's been a after work and weekend project and I'm happy to be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

I know. I'm sorry. 8 months. Way too long for a complete rebuild.

We're on about the same pace. I've torn mine down and put it back together twice in a year and a half....lololol..

It's the joy of the project.

Besides, boating is dumb. ;)

lol. I'll have to pull it apart again next winter to rewire it. I ordered a new boat harness. I'll start over and make it perfect.

Atta boy. It's a disease you know right? It isn't curable.
