Come on!! we are not talking about being rich!!

It is IMO you have taking for ever to finish a very easy project.

So sorry to offend you and others.

This coming from a guy that can't even wash his boat before taking pictures of it to list it for sale.

Hey. We aren't all rich. Give me money I'll finish it faster. We've had a baby, my wife is out of work. I think I've done a damn good job of getting it done.

Really? Smh don't follow, if it bothers you that much.

Taking your time and doing most of it yourself is what it's all about, feels that much better once you get to enjoy it out on the water! My old Tahiti was a frustrating but fun project, not everyone has the patience for these types of projects..... take all the time you need! Btw looks awesome coming along[emoji1303][emoji482]

Thank you sir! It's been a lot of work but I've enjoyed doing it myself. I don't make enough to pay someone to build it for me nor would I want to. It's all about the pride of building and driving it.

Yupppp I couldn't agree more. The best is when people ask who did your work? Then you just smile haha. Just be glad yours didn't look like this.

Well I found another Sportmaster. This ones new and they will be installing my gears in it with the breather kit and the billet bearing doodads.

That's great to hear! Hopefully you got a decent deal after that fiasco you just dealt with.

Cousindupree can suck it slow and easy. I feel ya. I'm in the middle of a remodel (doing 95% of the work with my own two hands), living out of boxes, work is busy and I have a lot of other stuff going on. I feel like I hit the lottery, when I find a day to work on my boat, let alone have the energy to. Like you, I don't want to cut any corners, so I'm taking my sweet ass time.

Keep sharing the updates. I look forward to seeing it on the river next mine.

They discounted the labor for me, but I didn't tell them about the last headache. I got it from Fallon Marine in Havasu. $1800 all completed with a new case and I can still sell the old case.

Thanks bud. I need to do a complete re-wire but it can wait until next winter. It will work for now. Good luck with your project!

I saw joe working on your boat. Looks great!! Are you going to convert it to a pleasure boat then? Or just put a back seat and hatch?

Did you put it on that yellow Schiada? What was on it before? How much speed did you pick up?

A 200efi. More than 20mph with no water pressure. About 15/16 mph where it's set now. With a conservative set up. I have good wp and temps are around 145/150 running it hard. I was told to go to a CLE and I'd gain a couple more mph. I need to try one with a 15" shaft.

That's a big step up. What's top speed on it? It's the same boat Justin and Melissa owned right?

Yes. I've seen 82. It will run mid 70's now loaded with fuel and people.

I only saw 60 when I bought it but the motor was tired.

It's never going to be a fast boat. It's heavy. It's a vee. It's got a turn fin. Full floor and interior. Cav plates. But it rides like a dream.

I'm gonna move the seat and steering to the left and add another kirkey to the right, I built a aerodynamic hatch similar to an STV...two seat bullet!

Select wheels and tires after you figured out what fenders you want. I put 10" wide fenders on my 21 daytona trailer before I selected my wheels and tires to be sure it would fit and look right. Just barely tucked. With leaf springs you'll get more movement up and down as compared with torsion axles. Too close and it will rub constantly on the fender.
