Everybody should do the Yerington DMV at least once. 🤣
Went to Carson City (State Capitol mind you) DMV on a Monday with an appointment and checked in 15 minutes early on the app while sitting in the parking lot and got a text back 30 seconds later that they were ready for me at window 8...
I wonder if the taxes are county specific. I brought four vehicles from CA and two from AZ and didn't pay taxes on any of them. Just registration. Bought a CA RV in July and registration only. Haven't transferred a boat yet.
Picture is a little deceiving. Someone graded this area so the natural sage wouldn't grow back. We did this area in DG to keep maintenance down. There's another natural acre behind that, then open space for miles.
Moved from OC to Gardnerville a year and a half ago. I'd like to say it's closed, but I'm too new to the area. Would be glad to help you out. I'll PM my phone number.
I have a Jayco on the S2RV Freightliner chassis. The floor is probably 24" above the frame. I'd say half of the storage is all the way through. It a tall girl at 13' 1" though. The chassis was built for RV use so it's actually pretty nice. Definitely has engine noise.
Just to help with the shopping, I just sold the one in post #22 to a younger couple that I really liked for $39k. It was nice, but negatives were that it was a gasser, I'm in northern Nevada, and tires were at about 6 years. Since the posted pics, all of the graphics were two-stage painted.
Going tomorrow and Saturday when our kids get here from Nor Cal. I'm not much for Reno, but we're absolutely loving the Carson Valley. Saw you were up this way. Make some time to come by next time you're here.
Qualifying is today, tomorrow and Wednesday. As I understand, basically clockwise around the hill adjacent to hammertown. Down resolution and down backdoor through a bypass then into the short course.
That jeep will go anywhere you need to go to spectate. Is just going to get really dirty, inside and out. I can still smell last year's dust in the vents. I take my jeep for the same reason. Heat if it's cold, and AC if it's hot.
Glad this thread made me reflect. Second granddaughter in March. Comfortably retired in July. Moved from a lifetime in SoCal to a great life in northern Nevada. Realizing how good life and family are.
