That's my exact thoughts as well. WHY do we still have the Electoral College? Its my understanding it was formed when the people lived in rural areas & could not make it to the polls. Seems to me, it really doesn't matter if you or vote. These elected few in the Electoral College is the only vote that really matters ???

Ironically, without the electoral college, we would most likely be looking at President elect Clinton right now.

I'd really like to see the county by county break down of the California vote and the percentage of the population that did vote. I'm guessing if the bay area and the LA area were gone, this state would be more red than AZ.

They will post it on the Secretary of State's website after the count. I always go look.

Unfortunately there are a lot of people who live in those areas.

But you are right more or less.

A squeaker victory, but the Republicans have control of both houses, the white house and will get to name at least one, if not more Supreme Court judges. It really could not have gone much better.

I have a couple of lefty friends on Facebook and the whiny drivel they are posting is awesome. LMAO :thumbsup

I definitely missed the call.
I figured she'd win and so did 120 out of 122 polls.

This is an instance I dont mind being wrong.

I have tremendous dislike for her so I was not unhappy she lost.

That said I can't say I love trump, but dislike him less.

all those 'illegal alien and dead DNC voters' should have dumped their ballots in other districts !

It's always been tough for the DNC to get those 'dead Republicans' to put their Obama/Hillary ballots in the correct box ......... HA HA HA

I'm sure the DNC will be 'well prepared' for next time . I just don't know how the country will accept '340 million votes for all the LIBERAL candidates' in 2020 .........

But YOU PATRIOTS will give them an excuse, that's your method of operation ............

If the popular votes of CA and NY are deducted, Trump won big in that category. Those 2 states gave her a 4M advantage in popular votes. Dislike the Electoral College system as we do, it kept 2 individual states from slanting the results.

I believe she got 20 states and DC while Trump took 30. That to me is a telling number from the point the nation is comprised of 50 states with individual economies.

Many ways to look at things in the land of equal opportunity. Butat the end of the day, I think the citizens of the country were fairly represented. Of course I'm predjudiced because "my side" won.....
