The original "voice".

Both Yaz records were awesome; I have them on vinyl, too.

Hell Yes!

Live Siouxsie vids are finally hitting YT after a 10-year hiatus.

WTH, she's only played The Passenger live, twice? For sure she's prepping for a duet with Iggy!

Saw the Furs tonight.

Eh.

Butler sounded good (though he's sounded like a sixty year-old smoker since 25). Pretty much the same shows I saw almost 40 years ago.

Should have been a seven song (hits only) set, played fast, distorted, and super, super loud.

Maybe with a extended The Ghost In You version in the middle.

No encore, just: "Thank you Austin, we're out!"

That would have been a great fucking show.

Got two new pieces of vinyl.

Cars, which turned out to be 180 gram vinyl, I wasn't expecting that, so I'm happy.

I've been eyeballing this Marty Robbins record, but I thought...clear swirl vinyl on a classic country record?

Damn glad I ordered it, the record is really cool and the vinyl is thick and feels great. The sound quality is excellent, it sounds better than the Cars record. Go figure. Big Marty fan here.

I was too! Heavy Metal day and New Wave day.

270-300K people in one big dust bowl that felt like a blast furnace. And not one bottle of Dasani or Aquafina :D

I went with my older brother and his friend, we got separated... It was so crazy, I was 17, how old were you?

Uncle Rico : How much you wanna make a bet I can throw a football over them mountains?... Yeah... Coach woulda put me in fourth quarter, we would've been state champions. No doubt. No doubt in my mind.

I was 16.
I went went with some local rockers. A week before the concert they spied out a 4X4 trail thru Lytle Creek and on concert day, I rode in the bed of stepside pickup, up and over the mountains, it dropped us in at the backstage area. Both days.
On heavy metal day we made our way to the stage during Quiet Riot. But it was so figgin hot that my head started spinning and it was like I had Vertigo. So I tapped out and left my group. So I too was on my own.
Then I lost my Rip-It wallet and my jacket.
I had 2 dollars to my name and I bought a corn dog, which fell onto the dirt after I saw my first set of live titties.
Then I hung out at the backstage area and although I didn't know who he was atthe time, The Woz was walking along shaking peoples hands, including mine, asking how we liked the show. We all looked at each other like..."who's that short fat guy?"
I also froze my azz off at night...
All in all - IT WAS AWESOME

To this day I still wonder why in the hell my mom would let me go to something like that lol

Next week http404, myself and my daughter/friend are going to Cruel World.

Can't wait. Weather should be okay at 85 instead of 96 like last years event.

Here's the set list for Siouxsie...

BTW guys, LiveNation has that $25 ticket blowout that started today.

4 Smashing Pumpkins tics at 5 point Amphitheatre...$100 out the door, none of those insane fees.
