Years ago I was rehearsing with my band at Mates Studios in North Hollywood, we were getting ready for a showcase for Geffen at the Viper room in LA. During a rehearsal Dave and Taylor walked in on us rehearsing, they were both staring at me and got up on my drum riser, they both put their hands on my shoulders as I was playing, smiling at me. When the song ended Dave told my band that they were lucky to have me as their drummer. I couldn’t believe it. Back then I always felt that if something were to happen to Taylor I would get a chance to play with Dave and the FF’s… Great memories… Since then I have worked with FF’s quite a bit in a different capacity.

Wow, that is awesome! What is your band's name?

I fucking love the FF's. I loved the Germs, Nirvana. I don't know who I'd be more excited to meet. Dave or Pat

I also love FF's. Back then we were called "Deadboys Club".. When we broke up three of us formed a new band called "Cousin Oliver", a punk ska band. We signed a deal with Drive Thru Records, toured a little bit with Fenix TX and Less than Jake, then we called it quits. I started a cover band "Glorious Bastards", we did great for almost 14 years playing all over.. Now I'm playing in an Eagles Tribute band called "Dark Desert Highway", a great band with a couple of pro players in it. I'm playing with them just to keep my chops up and stay involved in music, and it actually pays pretty good. Since the TV industry has a writers strike going on I've gone back to playing drums for a living, lol... It's not nearly enough to stay afloat.

New vinyl, some Janis Joplin. 150 gram vinyl, sounds crisp and clear, kind of that mono sound.

I worked on this video shoot, it was in Malibu years ago. Toby Keith said in an interview that this song was the best he ever wrote and didn’t think he could do better.

I wish they would release this video. This was filmed with cinema cameras from what I know from a well placed source. :)
