Pretty heavy tune for 67'

Daddy hates mommy, mommy hates dad
Last night you shoulda heard
The fight they had
Gave little sister another bad dream
She woke us all up with a terrible scream
Skip a rope, skip a rope

Oh, listen to the children while they play
Now ain't it kinda funny What the children say?
Skip a rope
Cheat on your taxes, don't be a fool
Now what was that they said about a golden rule?
Never mind the rules just play to win
And hate your neighbor for the shade of his skin
Skip a rope, skip a rope

Oh, listen to the children while they play
Now ain't it kinda funny What the children say?
Skip a rope
Stab 'em in the back that's the name of the game
And mommy and daddy are who's to blame

The current country crooner system...all equip, except for CD player and fan, is from the 80's and all Japanese...no China Virus crap

Numark EQ that allows me to split the signal to both amps (without using a splitter)
Onkyo CD/SuperAudio CD
Yamaha preamp (I need to put my Onkyo preamp in, the Yamaha is a testy lil biatch)
Onkyo preamp
Onkyo 300 watt
Fan
Yamaha 380 watt

Listening to the new speakers and it sounds pretty damn good. But the speakers are too big for my tiny office :(

Heard the song many times growing up but never really heard the lyrics. Thanks!

Hank Sr, Jimmie Rodgers, Waylon, Willie, Johnny, and Merle in our house.

Pops lost it if Rod Stewart or other pop music crossed the radio airwaves. Chucked his framing hammer at my brother's boom box for playing Kiss. But he was always toasted...so he missed! :p

We've heard Woody and now we have Arlo.

I'll let another put up the streets of Bakersfield. :)

And now I'm off to Facebook to see what the boaters are up to. 😁 Ciao!

I know Wheeler watched some Haw' back in the day.

Beautiful lady inside and out.

Off to bed too, DTLA office day tomorrow and riding with the scum on the subway. 🙃😎

Our love is the size of these tumors inside us
Our love is the size of this hospital room
you're my hospital groom

Put a ring on my finger so tight it turns blue
A constant reminder
I'll die in this room if you die in this room

Sit like a watchdog and patiently wait
Listen for footsteps
down the hallways visit beds like they're graves

Days go by so slowly
Nights go by so slowly
Days go by so slowly
In a hospital room
in a box built for two

Fight for air fight for my own air
Forget all the things I can do alone
Fight for a heart fight for a strong heart
Fight to never know this sickness you know
But I know its my own I gave it a home

Our love is the size of these tumors inside us
Our love is the size of this hole in the ground
where my heart's buried now

If you didn't know, you would think Ramble On was being performed by Zeppelin.
Always tripped me out how underrated Great White was. Truly great rock band. Didn't realize they did this tribute. Would be cool to scoop this up and listen to it in its entirety. Even cooler that it's live. 👍 Sounds like cool patio music for the Summer. Jack Russell...born to be a frontman.

Lol, DTLA delivered today. At the height of the lunch hour, in the epicenter of the financial district (Grand Ave on Bunker Hill), two beater cars pull up, a Gypsy chicks gets out, another Gypsy chick tells her to get back in the car, then jumps out of her car and grabs the first Gypsy by the hair and the fight was on!

Of course, Karen in her blue biz suit jumps in the middle of the melee and tries to mediate a peaceful solution.

My two female attorney co-workers were in disbelief. I was like MEH, those crazy ass bitches probably do that shiat everyday. Nothing to see here, let's go eat.

That's why I love working in DTLA. I go and have fun, and then return to a normal life.

That is a bad ass session for sure.

I see it's on Spotify and Tidal 👍

May 5th 1999.. I just got my start in the studio business setting up camera cranes all around LA. I worked a Country music Award show at the Universal Amphitheater. This was the first time seeing Martina McBride. She was incredible that night. I also met George Jones backstage, I couldn't believe it. What a night. I still hold this song close to my heart.

My olady and I saw Muse last night at the Honda center. Hands down the best show I’ve ever seen. I’ve been to at least 100 concerts, and this one was way over the top. A cross between Rush and Maiden. Even better, Evan essence opened for them, and Amy killed!! Tip too it all off, my wife almost got in a fight with Theon Greyjoy from GOT. I don’t know his real name. Dude wouldn’t stop talking, she told him to shut up, and Ol Dickless piped up at her, and she said to sit down before he loses them crooked limey teeth! My wife is a stone cold killa…

Hey man, I've played CAS before!

I thought it sounded familiar! :p👍

Whenever I listen to Mazzy's So Tonight and the record ends, Tidal feeds/streams similar artists and those two are standouts in the list.

This one popped up on Tidal, never heard it before but it's a great song.

The band was Gasolin' from the 70's, not familiar with them.

I've seen them live a few times un Dallas, excellent cover band.

The drummer especially, she's John Bonham incarnate...when she plays, she looks like she was put on this earth to play Zep.

Disappointed they never took off :(

My understanding was they choose to retire to raise a family. That's great.

Too bad for us though.

On 10 October 2014, during an interview on BBC Radio 6 Music's Radcliffe & Maconie radio programme, David Baddiel described Dave Gavurin as his "oldest mate" and stated that "they [Dave and Harriet] are doing music, but whether they ever put that out there, I’ve no idea. They're the most paranoid people about actually putting stuff out there."

Fans who have seen the Sundays live will remember hearing one or two tracks that were never released. "Something More" and "Turkish" featured in many of their sets, but the only copies are live bootlegs.

In an interview with the C86 Show Podcast released on August 18th 2020, Patrick Hannan revealed that Harriet and David had "never stopped making music" and that there are a number of tracks on which he had played drums. Patrick stated that these recordings may never be released.
