… I forget what song it was, that she sang… But she did an acappella version of a pretty famous traditional song at the Big Sur folk festival. It’s echoed way up into the canyons… Absolutely breathtaking…

A quick listen before bed...

You guys remember this record?

My brother and I, who's not a Lennon guy at all, listened to this cassette a lot in the former family sled, a 69 Ford LTD coupe w/390 and Cragar slotted mags.. His "Pioneer Super Tuner" system made it clear that mom and pop no longer owned the car! Heck, one time we stuffed 11 teenagers in that car!

Anyways, Lennon was on top of the world and then...poof

Saw BB live three years ago in Irvine and they absolutely ROCKED!! If you enjoy their music and haven't seen them in concert, you should go. You'll be happily surprised with how well they sound live.

These guys blew everybody away on New Wave day at the US Festival.

Never realized the album version of Coolidge and Kristofferson's Loving Her Was Easier kinda sucks. His solo performances are better.

And their duet of Help Me Make it Thru the Night on the Whistle Test was awesome. Coolidge had the voice of an angel and her looks were stunning. Then the wheels fell off in their relationship and his years of womanizing and boozin' took their toll...on her.
