I never paid attention to the lyrics, and certainly I never knew the reason behind the song.

The Pretenders are now one of my all-time favs. I've wanted this little 45 for a while, I just never got around to ordering it.

Just the other night I was gonna ask if anybody else wears ear plugs when they listen to their music at home, really loud lol.

The bad is...tinnitus.

The good is - I've concluded I am unable to discern subtle differences made to my equipment in pursuit of replicating the sound of live music.

Theoretically, I shouldn't worry about half the upgrades I make to my equipment.

Found a old CD a friend gave me 10 years ago. He is a excellent piano player. He made a CD and paid Rick Derringer to produce and sing. Sorry , not a Rick fan. But I listened to it while I plowed this morning. I have no idea what Tommy paid him. It would be ok if I removed the singing.
