Spotify is great in that regard. They play random songs from entire GENRE's you like, as opposed to only the singles released by record companies and played on the radio.

For example, yowza!. I remember one of my DJ buddies raving about The Cramps 35-years ago.

The other day I heard this song, ONCE, and was like damn, gotta get it, awesome.

My point is...I'm pretty sure I would never of heard this song without the help of Spotify (I actually use Tidal since they stream music in CD quality "lossless" format and not compressed MP3's...not that my tinnitus stricken deaf-ass ears can tell the difference lol)
