Even though we worked for the same company (SWA) and had several mutual friends through work, I met Steve at a boating event. What a great guy that left us way too soon.

I know that DiMarco. How long has your friend owned it? If it's the same boat, I ran my Schiada against it at a V-Drive of America event at San Antonio a lot of years ago. The owner at that time built the motor himself. The name of my boat wad "Adios".

I think about 10 years.

Someones V-Drive?...Looks like a Cav rod alongside the stringer, that's a bad hit. Did that to a nice LT-1 I had in a square box years ago, best friend for some unknown reason ran his fingers on the oil pan where the parts exited, sliced him clean to the bone.

‘What did that rod bearing look like & do you happen to know what the bearing clearances are ?
that rod looks to have gotten some heat prior to letting go.

69 nordic flat with a 392 hemi w/6 stromberg 97s. ski boat. saw duty at kinders camp (now riverland) . and can you imagine an 18' flatbottom for waterskiing on Havasu?. and the same hemi in the old boat at the ski land drags.

oh the humanity....is that the same boat on a water skiing day in the salt water Long beach at golden avenue

DR. Vic Eastman. He was the SCSC official medical person as well as the gentleman that put together the timing system used at the kilos forever. He retired and moved down under years ago. not sure how i ended up with that picture (rolled up like a cigar).

It's for sale.... While I wait for RD to approve the add here is the detail from the add.... Second owner, I've had the boat since 1999, I have fully gone through the boat and made it a true RC. Schiada did the interier. Boostpower did all the mechanical with an Injected 509 Twin Turbo...
