The wing on the Daytona has no business being on the back. If any wing is on a jet it should be in the front between the sponsons.

Had lunch with Billy on Friday and got talking about those days and that picture.
As impressive as Davey was as a driver(maybe the best I’ve ever seen in a circle boat), that smile on his face in that picture and his personality is what I remember best.
And then there’s Campbell Carl behind him. Spent allota time with him over the years. Sure miss him.
HUD “the king of smoke”. Loved that guy. Hope he is doing well.
Young Conner…a chip off the old block for sure.
Me and Billy might POSSIBLY have been overserved that night!

I have had a few boats over the years but the one I always want to keep has been the flatbottom. There have been periods I didn't have one but either a friend or family member always did so they were always around. Someone mentioned earlier in the thread about going back to a grassroots 18 foot Hot Rod and how much fun they were having and I have to agree.
