21/24 is right in the middle of NADA. At a dealer, with the right client that can't get conventional financing, they might jam someone into that price. On the street, its ugly as fuck, no one is paying full retail for it. It's also a 6.0, the worst Deisel motor Ford ever made, and the worst power package out of any of the three manufactures. It's also out of warranty. The erg and oil cooler could go out the next time you start it, and its 4k out of pocket. I seriously wouldn't buy it for more than 15k, and I would never buy it with intentions of using it as a daily driver. At 15k you could ditch all the pink and put the Bullet Proof erg and oil cooler on it for 5k and youd be right back in the blue book range.

really not a bad looking truck for the right river/sand dune wife. That being said the personalized "cyndi" matts should be pulled out of it. Did you swap to smaller tires? The rear tires look pretty light in the tread department, but shouldnt with only 33,000 miles . My toyos have over 60 on them and still look pretty damn good. I think just from the pics and the small market window with the pink probably around 22k

It's a little "jarring" at first glance.
But that does not diminish the value of the work and cash making it the spectacle that it is.

If some one has the money (or can get the money aside from a regular loan) and wants a lifted, completely impractical "show truck" type rig, they could save a fortune versus building one.

Just make the changes required to "personalize" it for their tastes and use the difference to buy a boat!
There is no accounting for taste.
Anyone who has jacked a rig all up knows what it costs. And also knows that just like a boat, you are never going to get close to what you have into it.
I think someone out there who knows that would cough up at least $25K, if not more.

Side note:
RD, your girls first car should be the safest "bumper car" you can find for her, with the knowledge that every single panel on it will be crashed and dented within a year or two.
Carry the maximum liability affordable at all times, with a carrier known for actually paying out.
I have 4 kids grown, and 2 step kids that are now adults. Trust Me on this one, a "training" car is what you are after!!!

These are my thoughts as well.... I just passed on the opportunity to buy an 03 Excursion Eddie Bauer 4x4 with 47k miles on it that was very clean and ready to go for $20k. The 6.0l engine was the deal killer for me. If it could be bought for somewhere in the 15-16k range, than allows for $5k to be spent at BulletProof Diesel to make it more reliable and still be in the truck for a reasonable amount of $$.

It would cost me a shit load just to pull everything apart and a re powder coat everything black. Not really digging the wheels so new wheels and tires would be an easy 5k.

If it was a diesel, Id offer $10k because it's going to cost me 5-8k to get it where it want it.

The Chevy looks hard to me. It needs bigger tires and all the gold re-coated, but I would buy this for 28k before I bought a POS Ford with a 6.0. The Chevy also has a solid front axle swap and a bad ass video.stereo system.. Put it on 40s, powder coat it black and that would be one bad ass truck for less than that idiot paid for this guys Gay Pride Excursion.
