a guy I know that does welding for Robby out of his shop, he was working on a bare chassis yesterday that will be displayed so folks can see what the chassis looks like bare.

makes you wonder why they just can’t pull one off the line.
They stated 5 weeks ago, 75 cars completed and hope to have 100 by SSSS (averaging 5 a week).
Reading between the lines, sounds like these cars are hand built (could be a good or bad thing)

So say these cars are delivered next week somewhere in the U.S.A. What if first time taking it out it breaks? Where would you take it for service? I don’t know of any authorized Hisun service centers. Yeah blah blah blah they are working on dealers but? Usually you build the network before you deliver the goods. Hastings just has a large garage door and a drive thru still.

I'm not sure what he was doing to the Chassis, I think maybe make a stand or something for it, I couldn't tell from the picture.
English also isn't his first language, so saying "we have 10 complete cars" could be a translation issue. And, before anyone thinks he's from a Mexico factor, or anything. He's in So Cal, and does a ton of custom work for people, he's the real deal welder, does stuff for Kartek, Speed, RG motorsports etc......

If that happens tomorrow (it is not), you don't yet. There is a reason we got a $12K discount. If you are in the first few hundred and cant work on the car, I would not break your car. You'd probably have to take it to So Cal to RGs shop, maybe Morgan in Havasu.

Word on the street is that he is going to be working out of the rack storage building renting Speed cars. So he should be up and running in 2030. :looking:

No kidding. Those cars will be 7 years old before that rack building goes up 😂

Was also going to post up looking for a car soon. If anyone knows of one available let me know. Should be a flood for sales with all the Speed cars being delivered at the SSSS This weekend.

Was going to reach out to you, Don and Ziggy. Got a few more weeks of work then it might be Able to get it as a priority. Still have to make sure that the wife is on board. Was thinking 4 door for sure with parents that stopped going as well as other family in town to join in the fun. I have my thoughts but rather get advise from those with knowledge. Then I have the storage parts of it. Might be able to hide it in @DWC ’s fleet if I can’t get it in the garage. LOL

Somebody's gotta have spy pics from the SSSS by now...
Don sold it a few years ago. Used to be a lot of my old Glamis crew working the show. Looks like Ebay motors owns it now. Not sure if any of them are still working it. Tomorrow will be the day!

I have the Jeep if it is just a day drive off-road with 2 or more uncomfortably. But I’d like to do more with longer rides as well as rides with others. I feel that there are too many members out there with SXS and I’d have a tough time keeping up with them so we don’t go out. Thanks for posting up As I am not sure the route that I want to go at the point. It is the first full winter with the option of being in Havasu and not exactly sure of the direction to take. 👍

If you have a budget in mind we can elucidate potential options for you. For between $20-$30k you can get everything you’d want or need to be safe and comfortable. Sky is the limit from there.

Between Ziggy’s car and Don’s garage of cars, you should be able to find what you like :)

Not sure how much I want to spend at this point and that is why I have not posted up a thread. WIlling spend what ever is needed to have a reliable vehicle that keeps the family safe. Since I have not pulled the trigger on the Howard 288 or pool build at this point I can justify a fair amount on a quality car. Kind of like our boat…if the right one come up for sale that makes sense I could jump on it. 👍

What kind of car do you have?
Maybe you should go on some of our rides @LargeOrangeFont and @Bpracing1127 put on some great rides !

Dont forget your tool box!

lol
I have a old tired 2012 arctic cat wildcat . The original speed car of its day for about 3 weeks ! Lol . I'm good in real terrain and can keep up until the fire roads . I can't run 70 plus for long periods of time . Oil starts to spew from all kinds of places ! Haha . My buddy keeps pestering me for us to finish the Arizona peace trail real soon . 100 plus miles a day is a normal day ride for us it's just the type of terrain that holds me back . Can't run wide open all day anymore

As long as you can do 50/55 for 15 -20 minutes your good on most long distance rides.

although the last day of AZPT is mostly haul D mail running along side the all American canal and power lines back into Yuma
