shit changes daily with this guy lol I hear now 12 cars will make it there but they are not “owners” cars just his cars lol 🤷🏼‍♂️ paid for by “owners” maybe 😂😂😂😂

I believe Speed had rights to the first 20 production run cars. This excludes those pre-production models we all have seen for the last 2 years.

RG is in a pickle. He can’t release a car that is not perfect (he will get slammed quickly), but he can’t continually delay the car for perfection (reason I continually slam him).

Sure he can delay, the buyers will wait for years as long as it’s perfect and their money is making money so the car is basically free.

make the car perfect, but stop telling us your gonna call us for delivery, xxx amount of cars before xxx dates. ect......

at this point they are breaking the 1 of 2 cardinal sins in MFG

1. do not overpromise. They have done exactly this keep promising dates and blowing right past those without a care in the world
2. do not underdeliver- this we cant judge as we do not have a product in our hands.

Free ? They are paying 35K + ….sure there have been a few guys that have made some money on spots, but no one has had a car and sold it to make enough for a free car …. Plus if someone sold there’s as soon as they got it and made a good profit who knows how long it will be before they get another and it won’t be 35K

I just heard they have 10 completed cars, I hope my source is wrong, or maybe they have more done but could only get 10 to the SSSS. I guess we'll see.

Why would they need to bring more than 10 or 12 cars to a show? They aren’t delivering customer cars there.

If you include hyper cars Todd's statement is not true. They have 1300+ HP v8's which is more HP per cylinder than speed.

I just would have thought it would have been a HUGE deal to maybe deliver like 5-10 cars to their owners at the end of the show so they could be out there driving them and getting some hype going again. I know blah blah blah they can’t deliver in CA … well they should have did the paper work in havasu this week and got past that lame excuse. The only conclusion I can come up with is he really don’t give 2 fawks of what anyone thinks or cares at this point And they (owners) will get the cars when he says so 🤷🏼‍♂️

Have you seen the Havasu building? Outside of putting in two roll up doors 6+ months ago they haven't touched that building, they aren't ready for delivery there.

The exact words were, "we have 10 completed cars" and they are working on a bare chassis to show at the show. Hoping that just meant to the show, but it sounds like only 10 completed cars. We will see in a couple days, I'll be there Friday night.

I hope they actually have other information, I don't' need to see 10 cars, hell, I don't even need to see more than one. It was the wording that sounded disappointing.

I’m not sure you understand how delivery works.. if they deliver the cars in California then they have to abide by the California laws. They don’t have the carb paperwork so they legally cannot deliver them in California?

Then deliver to havasu, have owners sign off and ask said owners if they can show them at the show, maybe hook ‘em up with some swag or tool kits? Owners can be responsible for transporting after the show. Seems logical to me.

You are assuming they have the timeline to do this .. I think they are scrambling to get whatever they can to the show

We’re all assuming.
Like last year when they scrambled to get a “preproduction” car to the show that the doors didn’t fit and there was a bolt welded to fill a gap in the cage?
2 for 2.
Let’s see how next years SSSS goes for Speed.

Ok here is a plot twist I didn't see coming. Mexican Cartel already has some. I don't know if these are speed or hisun but they are posting video's from mexico on facebook. (Someone in the comments mention Cartel, I don't really know if it is.)

Guys. Lets talk serious for a moment.
How in the F are we all speculating 3 days before the largest utv show in the world? Why is speed utv not releasing some type of news or statements?
How are we ALL not on the same page?
10 cars? 1000 by? Deliveries by Thanksgiving? Havasu facility?

Why is there NO official news?
135mph, jump 120ft. 550 hp next year. Carb blah blah. China, texas, mexico. Hison or S on the hood. .

If you are not 1-100 you are missing this season. It starts in 5 weeks?

Agreed. They had already indicated they had more complete cars than that though. The first post in this thread shows about 10 cars.

LOF has to be wearing out the flooring in front of his desk, pacing back and forth like a mad man! 🤣

You seem to care more about my car deliveries than I do.

I’ll let you put your complaint in the suggestion box for me 😂

Maybe because the time to release that info is in another 3 days at the biggest UTV show in the world?

Maybe. Personally i dont see the advantages to that type of suspense after all this time.
A surprise or breaking news just seems like a marketing gimmich.

Guess we will know friday evening, which is kinda my point. Why does speed have everyone guessing at whats going on? Leaving social media open to more rumors just seems really poor business to me

OK here is a question. If you could get a hisun sooner and cheaper than a speed utv but had to buy/pick it up in mexico. Would you do it?
Exact same unit? Where is the warranty work done, back in mex?
Then no. Id pay more and buy in az

Considering they are all made by Hisun, and Hisun said they aren’t making a Hisun version, no.

You'll "Let me?" WAFJ!! 🤣👍

I only post in this thread to give you a hard time. I don't have a dog in this fight, and could care less if your BFF delivers 1 car or 3,000. 😉

Yes I will let you. 😉

You aren’t giving me a hard time, I don’t care when I get the cars. All the people complaining aren’t even waiting for one.

Agreed 100% Dave , what my point is this would be a great time and place to say here’s X number of cars that are actual production / owners cars and they will get to take them home after the show from havasu, vegas etc. this would have been a great gesture to all the owners. Again this is just my opinion

I think that’s what they are doing? They said they will be at the show and then the owners will take delivery of the cars that are ready in the following weeks after the show. At least that’s what I understood it to be.

My first car is 113 so it should be here pretty quick. I’m getting an ankle surgery though so I’m probably gonna sell the first one and wait on car 326

I think if the carb cert was approved then they probably would release some cars at the show…

They could cherry pick 100 people outside of Ca and deliver cars in Az. Knowing they wouldn’t go into Ca….

or
they can do what they want.

I bet there’s a million little things that just pop up every day that needs to be handled / worked out. Must be a stressful time inside the Speed Zone!

I understand it doesn’t matter what number you are

Delivery is based off whatever car (model ) they start building 1st
