There are like 3 guys on this thread that have a Speed Car on order and don't really seem all that concerned with anything...but a bunch of people that don't have one on order that are totally up in arms about it...I really don't get it....

I will say this, the Speed Car when it comes out, at the very minimum will have every car beat in the looks department....
you think so? I disagree:)

Imagine saying the same thing over and over again in a thread while everyone at home is laughing at you while they read it for the hundredth time...

You can hear us laughing can’t you?

You don’t even have an order yet argue incessantly with us about ours. 🤣.

Ok so the same size as about most other cars. Will be interesting to see fuel economy on the speed car with just the 91 tune. Race cars are getting about what I get 7-8 mpg. Speed I would assume is closer or slightly less than that based off rhe hp number and assuming a lot of boost.

E85 (300 hp) tune I bet gets 3-4 mpg

It making more power and is a bigger engine so I’d assume slightly less fuel efficiency.. they could adjust that via tuning as well I’m sure to gain more mileage if needed.

You’re so busy throwing every company under the bus as you incessantly defend Speed.

What you don’t realize is you’re the one that needs to be under the bus - this thread will be much better for it.
Have always found your posts entertaining. Any chance the above crosses a line, especially considering this thread about a fucking SXS.

I can’t hear anything, I’m colorblind.

I might not have one on order but I can guarantee I’ll drive one long before yours shows up 😂

Have to agree, 90% of the negativity is from those with absolutely no skin in the game.

Well I might be the fourth guy on the thread I really haven’t mentioned it as I just joined this whole thing the other day but I am in the 3000 range and I really don’t care when I get it I haven’t even been a year since I put my $1500 down payment down infact I purposely did not order anything until I knew I would be way down the line and any issues that come up like all the ones you’re seeing where there is development or delivery or anything in between are worked out. I’ve already made eight trips to the desert areas and Glamis this year still using what I’ve got.

So 4800.00 for a fuel tank. I will assume it’s a bladder that’s great and all but bladders deteriorate over time. So you have a 4800.00 fuel tank that is going to need to be replaced on occasion. Especially running e85. Hope fully they will be available when that time comes.

Yes it’s a Pyrotect tank and their bladder, and supposedly it is a drop in deal. So the question on availability is with Pyrotect.

FWIW a similar Pyrotect tank for a Can Am is $4600 and you still have to mount and install it.

The RZR version is $3500 and you have to custom mount it.

Or you can get a rectangle cell for $1500 and fab everything yoreself.

I read this with the tone of an AA group greeting a new Alcoholic
Lol. To funny. So now there is four to console each other for hopefully less than “another” year.
And no need to come back with I’m a hater blah blah blah. Just fined all of this comical almost at this point.

I don't get the anger that erupts over this topic, on either side lol
I assume most aren’t angry looking from the outside in. And probably really could care less.
But there is LOF who will bite at every comment and repeat himself so the fire has been lit and he can’t help himself from being repetitive or responding. This would only be a 50-75 post thread if you eleimate those type of comments.

That said. I enjoy the entertainment when having a drink at home with no money out of pocket 😁🙄😜👍

I’ve never been angry, but pointing out the double standards and irony is great fodder.

Yet other guys here want to see me get hit by a bus, as recently as this afternoon, over a UTV they won’t buy 🤣.

But yea I’m the problem.

Maybe laryngitis or loss of your fingers use. 😜
But I don’t wish physical harm to “ almost” anyone. And you aren’t even close yet. Lmao.

I think car 3000 is a good call. By then the bugs will be worked out
Could be awhile though. I'm sure this thread will still be going

You are right. Only Tesla does stuff like that.

But you don’t have a deposit down, so what does it matter to you?

Imagine knowing the specs and buying a Raptor R for a 30% discount, and just having to wait a little while for it… instead of paying a 30% markup and waiting for it.

And you don't have a deposit on a Tesla so what does it matter to you? 🤪

Both of you just might be surprised at who all DOES have a Speed car on order.

Having a deposit on a Speed car keeps a person from having fun in a Speed car but not in a Speed car thread. 🤔

I agree with you 100% !! Just because someone on here doesn't say they have put a deposit down doesn't mean they haven't !

I was thinking about making a bunch of fake speed UTV side-by-side gives certificates for Christmas. I'll probably put some fake invoice numbers on them send them out to all my family and friends tell them that they will be getting a call as soon as they're done and ready to be picked up.
Do you guys think that will be a safe call on my side......LMAO...TIA

I am in the low 3000 range, which I would agree is actually a good thing. The first couple hundred will hopefully be enough to find the majority of supplier and assembly issues. By waiting, I also imagine the spare parts availability will have increased.

Mentioning spare parts, I doubt dealerships will carry Speed parts for a time to come. With limited parts at the factory due to COVID BS, I cannot imagine Speed pulling parts for spare inventory. Rather than having 50 cars worth of parts earning no revenue, I could foresee them becoming cars. Havasu or a central location will most likely keep some parts on hand, but a limited amount.

I also don't believe Speed on the reason for delays; RG/Todd are not being upfront. I cannot fathom that after three years of development they don't have enough parts on hand to deliver a single vehicle... They are intentionally withholding for a reason they are not stating. I am not going to speculate, as I wouldn't know how to start.

Someone prior mentioned Robby being weird about people making money off him. This is beyond true... I don't recall the company, but a fab shop started to build roll cages for the Wildcat XX. After releasing, Robby sent them a cease and desist letter, quoting infringement and threatened to sue the company.

I can foresee any business that makes parts for the Speed that "infringe" on Speed's parts to get threatened with a lawsuit. With that said, Robby has said he encourages aftermarket development, so we shall see. Who wants to be the first to make a winch mount for under $1,300? I know I will be breaking out my plasma cutter and welder before paying him $1,500+ for a winch and mount...

Just in case the expression is lost on anyone, “throwing someone under the bus” is rhetoric not reality or a wish, just like when LOF throws Tesla under the bus and then happily throws Polaris under it too.

I believe that was for long travel suspension that he owns the patents on, not the roll cage.
