And there’s at least 2 so called conservatives on this very site that believe that.

Any mention of US corruption seems to equal being unpatriotic according to them. One claims it’s all an extension of MAGA, the other says the US is incapable of any wrongdoing, in so many words, and to suggest it makes one a Russian sympathizer?

Slim Charles sums it up.

You happy now imbeciles?
I wouldn't take the Sun too seriously....one of the articles was also claiming how deadly cardboard drones were being used to destroy Russian fighter jets. I think this is more an article to show how evil they are.

In other news, Ukraine has made some gains in the south the past few days. It looks as if they've received some needed technical assistance. Russia was having comm issues, and I doubt it was the full moon or dead batteries in the radios. Really odd, never heard of any tactical leader going great guns on nights with a full moon.

I don't, but the fact that the head of their Space Agency stated it to a crowd, isn't a positive development IMO.

I don't think we're close to it by any means, but................

I don't think we're there yet, but I think some may want us to believe we are. It's the western media outlets that named the nickname "Satan"|
I believe "Cataha" is the russian word for satan....

Exhibit A.
A Separate Reality. And not Carlos Castaneda's. Wow. Just, wow.

"Those who do not study History, are doomed to repeat it..."
Problem with that saying is, it doesn't take into account what the opposing side's moves are in consideration of them anticipating you doing something completely different and them countering it. Not repeating it still doesn't guarantee a different outcome. So then what ? 🤷‍♂️ ;)

True, but repeating DOES guarantee the same outcome.

Did you watch the interview with Hungary’s president?
It’s a telling perspective from a 1000 year old nation that has actually survived and existed in the immediate region.
They have grudges that go back 3 times older than we’ve even been a nation.
To think that we are going to just impose our will on Eastern Europe is dangerously short sighted and exceedingly megalomaniacal.

In a lot of situations, once you’re “there” it’s too late.

"Well men, we've got them right where we want them. we are completely surrounded. That means we now can attack, in any direction..." "You can not tell a fully armed Marine Regiment, where it can or cannot go..."
Godspeed. Semper Fidelis..

"All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely Players;
They have their exits and their entrances"

This is what I thought of when I read this post. Like a game of chess, the movements are limited, yet there are many choices. The outcome is not decided on the moves themselves, so much as when one chooses to make which move. The game is the same, and so are the players. What differs is the roles played, and the order in which what pawn is played.

In the End, it's only a matter of time. What a time to be alive. If you have ever been a Surfer, heart in your throat dropping in questioning everything aside, no matter now, and proceed, over the edge...

Ezekiel 9:10
"So I will not look on them with pity or spare them, but I will bring down on their own heads what they have done."

Humanity, not just those of one country, race or religion, will pay for it's sins. All the ways we divide our selves, are constructs of man. In the end, we are all simply mortals.

Biden must be handing out X like candy over there in 'Nam, 'cause they raised up the U.S. to most highest diplomatic status.

South Korea and the rest of the "Free." world owes their very existence to the U.S. Marines, Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen who fought died, were wounded, and survived WW2 and Korea, so there's that.

As far as Woody goes, yeah, he made his point. Standing on the bodies of dead Servicemen. Show some respect or eat a giant bag of Dicks.

Notice, the media is running this as a big story now. It was common knowledge a year back, even mentioned on this thread. Even after shutting down Starlink over the water areas around Crimea, he still supplied thousands of equipment sets to the Ukraine government. (Some have ended up for sale, but that's another issue) Musk had no problems having the equipment used to communicate and organize movements, he stated he didn't want to be a tool used to control drone attacks.

Musk is now targeted by the left. Now it is big news. Seems dangerous, as his equipment is how forward command communicates...and he could shut that off as well.

At what point does Musk get Hillary'd, and replaced with a tech manager more friendly to the "cause"? At what point does the government sieze control under the guise of "national security"? Those things are frightening.

NATO is planning a major exercise for next spring, involving 40k troops at Russian borders and 50 ships.
Russia announced the reboot of its T80 turbine tanks production as well. Lot of actions to be seen, lets hope, sticking to conventional war, instead of a dooms day one.

Zelenski admitted last night the counteroffensive has completely stalled. Lots of reporting out there indicating Ukraine will only last another month or so before running out of men to fight. The next 30 to 60 days is going to be interesting.

Blinken OKs Attacks On Russia With US Missiles

teaser image
Missiles with 190-mile range (ATACMS) that were previously off the table are now headed for approval...

TUE SEP 12, AT 1:45 PM

And the imbeciles go.................... View attachment 1276970

The only difference will be the admition of use. It's been kind of rumored that these have already been used on several occasions. More than any missile, I think the US intel being supplied for target acquisition is the real threat to Russia.

If you look at many of the news videos that they show of the Russian young men. Most are true farmboys and various clueless looking men. They have no idea what is going on and they’re being shipped off, many to die miserable and pathetic deaths, yet others to be crippled for life, and yet others to be traumatized for life. Their mothers and wives are wailing in a manner that’s hard to watch.

As it has been said many times, the Russian nation is a manipulated nation of mostly sheepish, clueless people, but if you watch these guys you really see it. They have zero clue what the hell they are doing, and the next time they'll be seen, is when you're looking at their mangled, dead, or crippled corpses.

Putin is creating an entire generation of traumatized people who were on the wrong side of history, and if they live they will have to live with that for life. This is no Great War, this is probably the dumbest and most pathetic war in the history of mankind.

"Operation Unthinkable" planned by the UK and Patton's strong desire to remove Russia from Eastern Europe, but shot down by other Allied leaders. 😖

And Ike as I recall…
Back then we cared about not openly being the aggressor.
At least somewhat.
The war was over in Europe…who would we be to turn our weapons on Russia, with German assistance, primarily to annex eastern Poland, regardless of Russian interest in Asian Allie’s.

When the defense is won, and the threat removed, that’s typically when crusaders of peace and freedom stand down. To pursue further war thinking it will prevent future war is, historically, inaccurate at best and warmongering at worst.
The only reason Ukraine has a border is because Lenin so readily signed 400,000 sq miles of his western region away believing it would keep Russia out of hostilities in WWI.
All that happened was everyone stood up, turned around, and pointed their rifles eastward.

Ukraine was a major grain supplier. Like oil, grain is a global commodity. Just under half of all processed foods use grain to some extent. Add to that, more than half of the grain harvested worldwide is used for feed. If one were a conspiracy theorist, they may extrapolate to some degree that powers that wish to ban fossil fuels may now wish to control the populace to a greater extent. The US, China and Russia are all arming and leading poorer countries at this point. Laying out their pawns, and making calculated moves. Most people are not even aware of the global implications of these "small" details.

I find it rather amusing though, an American stating Russia is a nation of sheepish, clueless people. On the world stage, the past few years has painted a very disturbing picture of our own citizenry. From the leader of the free world being incoherent, our push to accept gender ideology and many other things. We are not exactly projecting a great appearance.

As for "farmboys" and "clueless" men, I wouldn't think a large majority of draft age men stateside would look much different. Russia, for now at least, is keeping their draft age and requirements steady. Over the past few months, Ukraine has lowered their draft age to 15, including those with mental and physical deficits, raised the age to 50, and also are rumored to be adding females shortly. There is also something I often wonder, what percentage of Americans could tell the difference between a Ukrainian and a Russian? Without their arm bands, they have trouble themselves on the battlefield.

You can't compare our "need" for Ukraine grain, to our need for Middle East oil. I agree that the way we're behaving in this country is laughable on the world stage. But in this country this sort of thing runs in cycles. Go back to the 60's and there were a lot of people in this country acting like idiots. But they grew out of it, and became the entrepreneurs of the 80's and 90's.

In Russia, it's always the same.... Generation after generation of unhappy sheep. All with little or no chance to get ahead in life. It's a dismal, gloomy, life that never changes.

You have the Putin hand picked wealthy oligarchs, which comprise just a few. Then you have all the rest.... Living like crap. The only reason alcoholism isn't more prevalent, is because most can't afford it.

Compare the Russian soldiers in Ukraine to our guys in Iraq during Desert Storm. Our guys were far more upbeat, not to mention much better trained, equipped, fed, and supplied.

While the Russians look and act like zombies, with no direction whatsoever. Russian young men are fleeing the country in droves, to avoid being sent to Ukraine. In many cases it's a very high percentage when compared to the few kids who ran to Canada to avoid Vietnam.

One good thing we learned is that Russia's military isn't anything like we thought. Putin has showed just how weak and poorly supplied his military is. This is dragging on over a year now. And the losses of men and equipment are staggering. And it's nowhere near over. Putin will most likely be dead before this thing ends. He brought all of this on himself. The whole thing was stupid.

Imagine if NATO went roaring in there with us. This thing would be over in a few days. And Putin isn't going to "push the buttons". Anymore than that idiot with a bad haircut in North Korea is. Both love playing the role.

Um, ok. So, the Nazi's destroyed one sub in drydock in port on the Black Sea. Golly gee, where could the rest of the Russian underwater fleet of nuclear MIRV missile capable submarines possibly be? Let's review shall we?

Both countries manipulate the populace...some can see it, others believe the narrative set forth by the leaders. No sense in arguing with those with lots of time, who probably have limited knowledge aside from what they've been "taught".

I'm not "for" either side in this. Both of these countries are total shit holes. The more of each other they kill, the better as far as I'm concerned. It's worth the cost of the arms and ammunition just to achieve that. Both Putin and Zelenski are as crooked as a tree branch.

Hopefully they'll kill each other. The world will be a better place when they do. And as far as whose next? We'll always have that to worry about. Just like when you have asshole neighbors who finally move out.... All you can do is hope for the best, as far as who moves in next.

He's Russian...and corrupt...didn't you get the memo?

The corrupt and evil people are not so much the ones fighting. The big Nazi AZOV guys have either died, or are on "tour" to rebuild ranks. Now, most of those dying are those with no experience.

Funny how the media paints the picture of just Russian troops and conscripts dying. The same media didn't say a word Monday when 2 American volunteers or mercenaries were killed in battle. Approximately 28 fighters were killed. Majority of the fatalities were from Columbia and Peru, but 2 Americans as well. I believe one gentleman from Ojai, and one from the Midwest.

Rumors of injured Americans as well. I think the media feels support for the war is easier to maintain when the blood spilled isn't American. So, they don't publicize those that may weaken the backing. It's easy to watch others die, for some reason some Americans tend to think of others as less worthy of life.
