{maybe I shoulda posted this on "RDPs what are you working on"}

Been a real good summer. Spent about a month in the great white north in West Alberta helping a friend harvest and helped her renovate parts of her farmhouse. Restored a storage box on her Dad fabricated back in the '80's (he passed in Nov '21), fixed roofline drainage problem on a porch addition, did a bunch of Kitchen renovations on the farmhouse (removed 70's style orange soffit lights, renovated cabinets, refit the space for a modern 32inch fridge rather than a compact 26), renovated and reinstalled cedar siding on her new porch, fixed some vapor barrier sheathing that the porch contractor installed wrong, rewired/relocated a few light switches and outlets. Stayed up late almost every day since the sun doesn't go down until 10pm or so. Drank many many margaritas, ate veggies from here garden nearly every night with Alberta beef/pork her neighbor the cattleman/pig farmer brought by.

Visited Costa Rica for 10 days earlier in the year for my son's 40th bday.

Went to Mammoth a couple times (80feet of snow last season).

Did a bunch of home projects in between. Painted flaking chimney, built a 1500 Sq Ft wraparound deck around our house, renovating parts of my old truck like repairing fiberglass damage on flareside fender and repairing bald spots on the top of the cab, helped my grandson with his truck's 5 speed and clutch, renovated or installed a couple new planters around the house, fixed a fridge that had a failing evaporator defrost system, dug out and cleared a landscape drain that was clogged by the neighbors' palm tree roots.

You been good? All well? WTH is a Benny boy?

So we have NAZIs in our US hospitals.. Why am I not surprised.
Hell, somewhere in this thread, a year ago maybe, was pics of Hetfield from Metalica shaking hands with recovering Ukrainian troops in Colorado.

In the mean time, I'm going broke with medical bills. Maybe I should should be an illegal, or become a nazi? The world's messed up 😔

Is it any wonder Vlad doesn’t want these US backed god damned nazi ghoul money changing cesspool dwellers on his back porch?
And by extension, is it any wonder that our corrupt pos government will literally bankrupt its own citizens while fueling these atrocities?

IMO- it's so obvious what Russia is doing, it's straight out of Bin Ladin's book. Pull the US (and E.U.) into a sustained drawn out conflict that will eventually bankrupt us. Russia has actually MADE MONEY off the so called sanctions. Russia could have kept the pressure on Kiev but instead they moved all their troops to the southern lines to draw this out further. Russia doesn't want Kiev to fold yet.
Prior to the Iraq war, the US was about 3 trillion in debt, we are now 33 trillion in debt. Do you think Putin noticed the pattern here? Illegal immigration and the Ukraine war will absolutely BK out country. Russia is winning big time.
Kudos to Poland for saying NO more!

Thursday night our time the Russian naval base in Savastopol was hit with cruise missiles. US assets were in the air, not attack stuff, recon types, at the time. Friday the Pentagon admits to giving Ukraine Intel and targeting info, but "Ukraine chooses"...Russia responded to the attack by hitting the airbase in Ukraine from which the attack was sent. Air raid sirens went off after the attack, so either faulty warnings, or the hypersonic stuff.

In Armenia, some ethnic cleansing going on. It just happened to start with the accidental killing of some Russian "peacekeepers". Been major protests in the capitol there, as suddenly the PM has called for American troops to come in, and Russian to leave.

Assad, from Syria, met with China. Opening new trade and military aid. There are two US "peacekeeping" bases there...they just happen to keep the peace around the oil fields there...that may get interesting soon.

Africa is on fire, countries kicking out French, troops and major money flowing in from all interested parties. (Wife's cousin just got his orders last week...)

...and a major faction of Wagner signed on with the Russian military, and will be entering the front again. No word as to which front though.

Our wonderful ex-astronaut jackass from here in AZ:

The US Senate did not rule out that in a couple of years the United States will face a “direct conflict” with Russia.

According to Senator Mark Kelly, to avoid this, Washington should not stop “aiding” Kiev.

“If it [aid to Ukraine] stops, they will lose, and Putin will win... If we don’t cope now, there is a chance that in a year from today, in two, we will find ourselves in a situation where a direct conflict between us and the Russians is possible. We don't want that," Kelly said in an interview with CBS News.

In other news, Killnet launched a cyberattack against Lockheed Martin and the US Military Transport Corps. Didn't look like it lasted long, but disrupted communications. Supposedly in response to Biden officially permitting shipment of ATACMS

Just like Covid, the challenged will lap it all up.

Don't worry, it will all be over soon!
Next week the first batch of Abrams is supposed to roll on to the field.

Of course, fall just started, and the rain has been here and there already. I'm sure these new recruits will have no problems with all their seat time.

Also, a Leopard tank was "captured". Rumor is the crew was German speaking...odd.

‘Killed’ Russian fleet commander spotted in new MOD video

Admiral Viktor Sokolov was shown at a meeting of senior military officials after Kiev claimed he was killed
The Ukrainian military claims it killed the commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. On Tuesday, Admiral Viktor Sokolov was participating remotely in a high-profile meeting, images released by the Russian Defense Ministry show.
Kiev’s claim came on Monday from its Special Operations Command, which bragged about two recent missile attacks on the Crimean Peninsula. The strike at the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol last Friday resulted in thedeaths of 34 officers, “including the commander of the Black Sea Fleet,” the Ukrainian military said on social media.
