I wonder if Alexander Solzhenitsyn is on Vladimir's reading list? Or, the "Bible?" "The Art of War," is, most certainly...

Interesting points. Never would have thought the gas line could cause discourse with Germany and US...different angles like that I'd never seen. Attacks on cables have been a threat I'd read about since the 80's. Honestly surprised they hadn't been messed with.

The one thing that I see as being pretty odd with the current BS, is what's been going on this week. Putin just now started hitting critical infrastructure targets in and around Kiev. I'd always thought those were initial primaries. Why start infrastructure attacks on a pipeline servicing a different country, than the one in which you are fighting?

Also, great videos of the pipeline ships. Impressive floating factories!
Perfect strategy, split off/hold Germany, needy Baltic countries hostage from the already emasculated Nations of Pussies NATO Alliance. U.S. in NO position to export LNG without pain. SOR drained. U.S. short on ammo, food, soldiers, will. By design.

The NATO war games set to go off, Paper Tiger's on Parade. Nobody in the Alliance is going to do JS. Talk talk talk, spend spend spend, steal steal steal, CYA CYA CYA. That's all they've got the Balls to do about anything...

Today...well, yesterday, the 19th...AFU forces made two separate pushes in the Kehrson region. Southern Ukraine, has ports and docks...financial and military significance. Appeared to have been initially two small armored groups with support, then followed up with reinforcements later in the day. Doesn't appear as either side claiming gains...but unofficially it's being said "foreign fighters" captured or killed by Russian soldiers.
The push and subsequent gains made by the AFU in the north east were originally rumored to have been facilitated by NATO types. There were videos floating around the web of some English speakers...but with accents, so that's better, I guess.

The media here keeps saying "Putin's on the ropes" and "The small but mighty Ukraine is close to winning."
Why is so much more money needed? Or weapons? Or soldiers?
Why does it seem like there is just escalation?
Kiev is hit with missiles, after Belgorod is hit in Russia (proper, not the "annexed" part)
Tit for tat...until we're all tits up?

Being reported the 101st airborne "screaming eagles" have been deployed to the Ukrainian border and are "fully prepared" to cross into Russia.
The Russian government called it an uncontrolled escalation.
We might just get into WW3 yet.....

Thursday and Friday there were already reports and videos coming out of the border towns, 5-10km inside of Russia's Belgorod region...artillery fire coming in from Ukraine. Belgorod, the city itself had been struck a few weeks ago, just before Russia started hitting Kiev and other targets.

When I saw that, just a matter of time.

We sent billions in weapons and cash, we shouldn't send more soldiers...but that's just me.

And yet people wonder why I was relieved that my daughter opted out of her USAF scholarship, and I worry about my son in JROTC.

Scary ass times upon us, this isn't some mud hut country. Even those still killed too many soldiers.
Ukraine is not part of NATO, these generals are fucked in the brain to enter foot soldiers into Ukraine.

Meanwhile, A Russian Research/Naval War? ship traversing the English channel, slows and changes it's stated planned course, and deviates towards Scotland. The ship is observed navigating just South of the Norwegian offshore oilfields, on a course taking the ship directly over the undersea cables that lie on the undersea floor, just off the coast of Ireland. The cables that carry 70% of the World's internet traffic between the US and Europe, upon which the interconnected world as we know it, depends...

But that was Yesterday...

Damn, aren't all the porn sites in Europe?

Now that will piss off Americans. Our own are trying to raise the costs of living, want to take our guns and freedom...but the general fuktard will be upset when PornHub isn't available🤣

So. Which flag are we supposed to fly...

There is a Peace Party. 74 million plus strong. Under President DJT, it is the Peace sign Flag.

Vietnam protests helped, brought down a crook. Maybe it's time. Time history repeats itself..

Have no clue on the video, but I know some guys that carried both in Afghanistan, and one guy I know said it happened in Vietnam. The old vet said they had issues with the M-16's early on, the younger guys said it was for ammo availability.
(Also a way to blame your enemies for things not condoned by different groups.)

Love the Small arms history. Some Old Devil Dogs trained with and deployed with the the M14 to, and then carried the M16 in the Vietnam war. Semper Fi.

A weapon for Ukraine that would be dangerous and cost effective, (if there is any still around, or crank them out!) what the Ukrainians need, is a fleet of Baddass M50 Recoilless tracked Rifles that the Marines used in Vietnam... 😲

So. Battlefield procurement of weapons, smart.

Kinda like the training the Military is giving support personnel about procuring and preparing food from "Local," sources within a War zone. How to slaughter carve up, prepare and serve up tasty animals to the Troops!

There is a distinct difference in sound of M16s and AK47's.
Bad guys in action retreat and head for the distant sounds of the AK 47's thinking they are joining their friendlies. It's an ambush. It's the good guys shooting AK47's in the air.

Old Viet Nam trick to sucker them into a trap that was used again in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Dumfuck Russians and Chechens will fall for it too if in the unlikely event Americans enter the war.

Regardless of the above:
Chechen Tic Tok army will be obliterated.
They are only deployed 3 waves back to shoot deserting Russian conscripts.

Called a Tic Tok Army because of all their phony uploaded Tic Tok staged "battles." They aren't in action, just murder.
If those aHoles cross deeper into Ukraine they will be flattened pretty quick.
They are staying close to home to jump back over the border to prevent annihilation.

Wagner is in the mist of being vaporized right this moment as well. Taking a bit longer because they are so spread out.

By what means would you measure entrance to a war? One could question the money, or shipments of arms, but lets leave them aside for the moment. Is there a magic number for soldiers? By soldiers, they can be either enlisted, or contracted, either one paid for by the United States. They are already there.

"Bad guys" retreating rarely retreat towards an active firefight...and if there were celebratory gunfire within earshot, they probably wouldn't be retreating.

You have a very rosy view of this conflict. Honestly, I hope to God my view is wrong, and yours is right. This is not a minor conflict, and our leadership is pushing for war. I have two sons in high school. I sure as hell don't want them drafted for this. The mere thought of that should sicken any parent.
Then there is always the wild card, what if the threat comes to our shores? It may seem implausible, but the signs shown other countries are not good. We have no border security, weapons and soldiers spread thin, a weak leader and a populace suffering economic issues as well as a lack of general cohesion. Our own government has used these same weaknesses as tools to topple other governments. I'm sure others have taken notice of this as well.

I told my wife last night, if this things ever breaks - Expect an up close view to what we have seen on TV for years.

It will absolutely hit home with this one in some shape or form.

Hear Hear. Prepare for the worst. Hope for the best. Coming home during HS seeing Vietnam on TV every night makes a definite impression. I knew I was going, and was pretty scared. My BIL was 1-A, and ahead of me. America was in turmoil, with the Vietnam protests, Four dead in Ohio.
Growing up in Pasadena in the 50's/60's, with Nike missile batteries up in the hills, Dad deeply scarred by WW2, and Korea, I will never forget. I'd have an awfully hard time with having HS age Kids in school looking ahead nowadays.
Good job Dad's Godspeed!

I'd always thought the greatest chance for our demise as a country would come from within. Weak leaders, greed and identity politics have torn us to shreds. Still, wounded and bleeding from our self inflicted stupidity, we are the best country out there. We are wounded though, and now is not the best time to fight. There are multiple things against us...Two major players, China and Russia, see our weakness. Our leadership seems to have finances in mind over truth. Honesty from the government is nearly impossible to find. Our enemies are training to fight, and ours are doing inclusiveness training, or being relieved of duty for failing to get vaccinated. The Pentagon was said to have released a letter, blaming record low enlistment on the Dobbs Decision...about 14% of the active duty force is female. Overall enlistment is down 24%. I have trouble believing abortion rights issues arising mid year have played that much of a roll.

In other news: Yesterday the Russians notified the Pentagon that they will be conducting their annual nuclear drills soon. They do it every year. Subs, bombers and battleships, usually with missile launches from subs. If this were to "go live", stuff could get interesting real quick. As a side note, the US is participating already in the same type of exercises with NATO in the North Sea I believe. Carrier group as well as B-52's and supporting equipment. Who is saber rattling? I think all players involved.

Also, for the second time this week, one of two US bases in Syria was struck with missiles. Many people don't even know we have troops there. Those that don't, surely don't know that Russia also has troops there.

The Czechs are not particularly fond of the Russians...I'm not sure I understand this, unless they're all woke
If they were the woke types, I think they'd be pro Ukraine. I was curious as to why as well...even looked up their GDP stuff, and Russia isn't in their top 5 for imports of exports.

Maybe they forgot?

My mother was a devout democrat, even though she grew up in Czech and escaped during the Russian invasion. She was 13 or so at that time. My Grandfather who orchestrated the whole escape plan, hated everything to do with government and would probably have shot the fucking mailman out of distrust unless grandma calmed him down.

I guess it depends what sort of propaganda you’ve been exposed to

Sounds like someone else is catching the populism bug.

"Russia's not our enemy, the government of warmongers is the enemy." The protesters have repeatedly condemned the government for its support of Ukraine and the European Union sanctions against Russia, and opposed Czech membership in the EU, NATO."

It's weird, I've never been much on the side of "populism"...I'm not pro-Russia so much as I'm anti-Ukraine leadership. Everybody will choose the side they think is in the right. Most of that decision will be made on who you listen to, or how long you've been listening. I'm not a big fan of anyone dying in a war. Which, in itself, is quite odd. I am also a believer that some people just need killing.
Maybe in this case I'm more old school. If you step up to fight, don't ask your friends to help. That dance is on you.

All true, but the problem here is their "friends" are the ones who stepped up the fight. I feel bad for the Ukrainian people, their leaders deserve the rope, along with their "friends."

I envision going into a biker bar, finding the biggest guy, grabbing his girl's ass and then pointing to your friend.

Ukraine's leader is nothing more than a placed puppet. As has happened before, his new found power has lead to his arrogance towards some responsible for his position. I'm sure there are soldiers on both sides of the conflict that deserve the rope as well. The civilians on the ground are the ones paying for it. It's sad to see the pictures of the dead, regardless of the colors they fly. They were someone's child, or parent. Be they followers of twisted ideology or force to fight by their leadership, the same end comes.

Um…isn’t it obvious?
Ukraine is the wests money launderer.
Putins had enough. Way back when Obama was buying black market stolen Syrian oil (from OPEC for $40 a Bbl out the back door, which financed ISIS by proxy) Putin got so mad about being cut out of that deal he started bombing the Syrian oil trucks, and shot down an airliner.
How mad do you think he is about being cut out of a multi trillion dollar money washing operation on his back porch? By the same players that ass fucked him for 8 years not too long ago?

The ruling party will sacrifice all of us and our nation to defend what amounts to a cash register.
Russia isn’t the boogy man…we are, or rather our government is…the ugly truth is that we are pumping many tens of billions of dollars and other assets into a proxy war that will be biblical in its consequences.
There are for sure all kinds of other geopolitical applications to be considered concerning Russia, Ukraine and historical and current reasons for regional conflict of course.
BUT…when it comes to OUR involvement it’s strictly because we are currently the absolute most corrupt nation on the planet when speaking strictly about our government.
We are very good at trumpeting our causes in defending against communism and oppression and cloaking ourselves under the banner of the worlds defender.
But sadly, in this case, our so called leaders are the catalyst and no amount of brainwashed anti Russia rhetoric can change that.

The Ukrainian supporters will blindly ride this misbegotten cause straight into oblivion, and they will take us with them.

The corruption here is so deep that I doubt it will ever be exposed. Even if the GOP regains control of Congress, what will happen? more hearings that take close to two years to complete and a new election is at hand. This shit just takes way too long there need to be an expedited process.
How are they to investigate China/covid origin, China/pay to play to Biden family, Ukraine/ Biden corruption in two years? I see a number of hearings with nothing happening to anyone as always.
