Found another one that needed to be saved. SBC swapped and not pre-smog, so I get to figure that out, but it was just too clean, original and cheap to pass on it. Have always wanted a white one....came with the original white driver, passenger & rear doors, just need to find some hardtop sides to put it back to original look. This one will get 4" spring under lift and some tall skinnies, rebuilt/recovered factory buckets, along with a bunch of elbow grease to clean up all the original paint.

It’s a certified interior complete with 8130. Given each ship is different, it just has to be individually installed.
Made a couple experimental interiors. Looked into certified.😲

Must not?
They weren't required for 50 years and I never heard of it being an issue. So I wouldn't worry about it. Pretty soon we won't be allowed gas water heaters anymore as it is.

I bought 2 water heaters yesterday. 1 electric and 1 electric heat pump. $335 plus tax and $1695 plus tax. The one will take about 10 years to pay for itself if it lasts that long. But customer is going to swap it after final inspection.

Just goofing around. I put one on my water heater that I replaced before I moved so the home inspector wouldn't give me any grief.

5 years ago the wifes Mazda 6 tires started to delaminate.
She went in to where she bought them and even though she bought the "covered for everything except vandalism" warranty the tire store pulled the "Not covered under ozone damage" excuse.

An email to the company HQ got her a replacement set of tires free and an apology phone call. All in under 24 hours.

Happened again this past week. They pulled the "ozone did it" BS and fucked her $1121 for a set.
I emailed again and yesterday I got her $1121 back,, under 24 hours.

Just got home from finishing this bathroom. Final details that seem to take forever. Inspection tomorrow so had to get it done tonight.

Spent yesterday doing the final details on a kitchen. Just need to cut in the cook top tomorrow.

Trying to get final inspection on another 1 this week.

Framing and rough mechanical on another.

And got appliances being delivered on Thursday to a different 1.

Hvac guy finishing up another 1 tomorrow.

1 more big remodel and the goal was get the tub set and valves installed. Just waiting on homeowners decision. And hvac guy to get by there.

Trying to clear my plate of a few before New Years. Got a few ready to start.

Thanks.

Kitchens as well. Everyone and there Mom wants white quartz. Where I buy it they have over a million dollars ofvl inventory on hand. Not many options in stock on the shower panels. But hundreds of options for countertops.

We are up to 40,000 slabs a month and cannot keep up. The demand is just crazy.

Mounted a lockable tool box in the bed of the talon a relocated the plate.

Wasn't about to spend a couple hundred bucks for a "UTV bed storage box" when a truck bed box powdered black is only $75

Switched trap baits to the giant Vanilla flavor marshmallows and have been catching skunks.
Blasting them is way messier than having a service roll by and collect them.

And a video from the recent annual fly in.

Well.....I don't know if there's a better video on the internet. Gosh I love MD's.

Do you exclusively work with/on/sell MD's?

Mainly MD’s and Airbus. MD’s are dying as the company is constantly in and out of bankruptcy and commercial production is for the most part shut down. Mainly just E to F conversions now.

Airbus is now the dominant brand.

An occasional Bell or Augusta.

Well I pretty much buttoned everything up top. Gotta clean it but it's together and tight. Oil pan is up. Driver side exhuast is done. I put coolant in and after about 2 gallons it started leaking above the bell housing on the passenger side.

The only thing really over there is the egr drain tube which is an o ring press fitted into a hole. I must have damaged the oring. I'm going to inspect more closely next time I get some time with it.

Besides that I have one more exhaust bolt that's a PIA to get to and get started.

Luckily both of these issues are in the same area. Once I get those two figured out we are ready to fire. Looks like I'll miss my goal I set to motivate me. But just by a day or two. Who knows, maybe I'll get it tomorrow before my birthday festivities. But something tells me I probably won't get to it tomorrow.

as I suspected. New one will arrive tomorrow. That exhaust bolt is now my enemy. I cannot get it to line up for the life of me. That bolt and this o ring are all that i need to fill it up and fire it up.

I've used spreaders on SBC exhaust manifolds to line them up.
Possibly putting some heat onto the manifold to line it up better?
Just a thought.

Thanks. I'll give that a look. My neighbor who has built a few engines in his day, he's on #3 for his 68 right now because well he's retired and wants to try a different combo on pump gas this time, is coming tomorrow to help me out. I'll mention this to him. But I'm really really close and I'm getting excited. Hopefully she doesn't go boom! Ha!

Are all the other bolts loose? If not they all should be loose until you get all the bolts started.
