Out here your telephone service was ATT or at one time GTE.
Finally rid myself of both.

Remember Magic Jack ads on TV?
Well, they are still going strong.
Wife wanted to keep a home "Deck Phone" in addition to our Cell phones.

I tried it and it works good. Plugs into the Starlink router.
It’s not free, it’s about $40 a year, first year free.
One time $19 to keep aka “port” your existing phone number.

ATT wanted $56 a month.

I bought it through Amazon for delivery / return convenience but learned it’s a few bucks cheaper too. Comes with everything you need.

So getting it registered meant I had to call Magic Jack.

First question was “Where did you buy it?”
Amazon means ya save a couple dollars but for that savings ya can’t fully activate it online without calling Magic Jack. I dunno why.,

10 minutes of clicking as directed, CC number, good to go.

Starlink in the RV and home means I cut the ATT cords for streaming, cell phones, home phones, and PCs over almost $125 a month savings.

A few years ago my fridge quit dispensing water, I took it apart and found that the plastic dowels broke that locate the microswitch. My research found that the insert for this fridge was no longer available so I had to fix it

Well now the ice dispenser door won't stay closed. I took it apart and I don't think I will be able to save this one, there isn't enough room for an adequate epoxy fix. The plastic for the hinge pin locator broke

Excuse my ignorance. Are helicopters designed to be flown from both seats? If so, only in emergencies, or is it at the discretion of the pilot?
Duals are typically an option cost wise. But most all have them. Unlike fixed wing, the side in which PIC sits depends on the model and relevant certification.

For example a 500 is left side PIC, a Robinson is right side PIC, an airbus is typically right side PIC unless certified for certain tourism configurations in which it is certified left side PIC.

Duals are typically removable so the passenger can’t make life excessively imaginative if not a pilot.

I leave mine in all the time as I don’t take random people along, only regulars who know that grabbing the duals is counterproductive to extended longevity.

New fridge will be here tomorrow. This fridge is 16yrs old and the water dispensing valve has an occasional drip causing an ugly calcium buildup mess in the drip tray.

The 3d print idea is good, never thought of that, I will keep that in mind for future things that arise

No lies, I probably flew in in it. 1992=1994, it's probably from that time period. Lol fuck I'm old.
It’s all new now. It was the last one they had left. Bought it in 23.

And being old beats the alternative. Enjoy it. 👍

I'd be questioning the "1959" pan, I'm guessing it's a typo and meant to say 69 pan.
I actually think my buddy used to own this car in Torrance, it was his wifes. It was red, on a 69 pan, and the same wheels.
It’s not in the cards for us to purchase right now. Was funny though how I’d seen this earlier in the day. Then out of the blue they came home and mentioned needing a bug.

Watching the wife remove some of her sutures.

The surgeons coated the inside of her boobs and other surgery spots with a pain killing-eventual dissolving gel that is a BFD. Ali strongly recommends it, hold that thought.

Her packet of retirement bennies from my work just came in the mail. She was soo pessimistic that my retirement plan offered anything like what she got.
PPO insurance, Dental, a list of other things,, all free. Now a believer.

Wish we still got that

Wow the deflection on the tail rotor blades is crazy, or is that just an illusion from the video frame rate ?
Total illusion.

We were doing track and balance on tail and main rotor all day. Those yellow cables are attached to sensors that go to a magic box that measures vibration.

For testing, I use a Dewalt or MAC 12v tool battery. The two outer most channels are + and -. Couple of wires with spades on one side, and alligator clips on the other. Also handy for popping trunks at the wrecking yard, or rolling windows up or down to get at stuff.
