Just left the hospital visiting Carl. I met his sister there and we hung out for a bit chatting. No real change which I guess is a good thing. Blood pressure has increased which is a good thing. He doesn't seem to be in any sort of pain. Not sure what to say other than that. For those that want to visit the hospital prefers no visitors during 7-8 am/pm due to shift change other than that it's 22 hours a day. I'm confident he's aware of us being there and talking to him.


I read through the posts and the texts I received.

Rattle can Lou, I talked to him as well about your posts and your wishes of being closer to him.

I have never met Carl and anything that I know about him has been from RDP. Good stuff...especially busting RD's balls daily. I can only hope that if I am ever in a similar position that I have half as many people sharing so many great memories of me.

I think someone should pull the cork out of fresh bottle of Jack and wave it under his nose for a bit. If I were in his position, I know I would enjoy the fine memories that smell would bring.

I must say that RDP has created a family that has a bond deeper than any of us realize... Carl has been in my prayers all week and will continue to be in them until he gets well...

I have been following this and hope for the best for Carl.As said before this place is amazing,filled with folks who get it.From the joy and zest for life and our love for boating and the outdoors to the caring and genuine concern for our huge family of like minded people.To all of you who have been able to visit Carl I'm sure you make a difference,I believe he is aware and knows he has friends who love him and care.Campbell Carl is one of the characters on this site that stand out.I have never met him but from what I have read in his posts and heard from all of you is that he is a treasured friend and I hope for the best for him.

Having lunch today at A place where Carl and I have spent many of afternoons at in the valley where he would be working on a Macy's project up the street. It's really weird sitting here by myself and I catch myself waiting for him to walk in the door at any moment. Get better soon buddy! I owe you many more bunch-a-lunches!

I hated seeing my friend that way. It sucked and I got a little misty eyed.

I told him that we are all pulling for him and that we all love him.

They had no idea when I was there. The answers were vague. They have no clue what his mental state is. There is no way of knowing what could possibly happen. Please keep Carl in your prayers.

Thanks Joe. I would imagine that the scan of his brain activity will answer that question once it takes place. I'm praying for a positive outcome (on all aspects of Carl's recovery).

Hammer and I just left there. We were there for about 20-30min and then they kicked us out of the room because they were going to take him in for a cat scan and X-rays. I said lots of prayers when I was there and let him know that the people that couldn't make it down were thinking and pulling for him to make it thru this!

Although I have never met CC in person, I have followed him on boat sites. and from the pouring of good thoughts from you all he is a good guy, I check these sites every couple of hours to check on his progress. Hoping the best for a full recovery. Get well soon.
